I said during the draft, a few years from now we are going to do a redraft and maluah will be one of 5 best players of this draft..

Side, i dont think cooper flagg will be top 5 in a redraft.. vj will likely be the best player of this draft class

If Cooper isn't in the top5 then it will likely be a generational draft (on par with 2009), because Flagg's floor is very high. There is a 0% chance he'll be complete bust. At worst a fringe all-star. He's already so good at so many areas of the game... So there would have to be at least 5 All-Stars in this draft for your prediction to come true. Personally, I don't think that's very likely.

I dont think hes as good as many make him out to be.. hes not very athletic and not that big, he will get a taste of the strength of real nba players very soon.

Hes got one thing going for him, he will be playing behind some very good players so the attention wont be on him. So for that alone he will be able to play more freely.

Vj will be the best player of the draft

One thing I really like about Kasparus (basically what Spo and many of ya'll have been alluding to) - his size.

6'5" tall with 6'8" wingspan, and these measurements are without shoes. Not only he is tall and lengthy for a point guard, but he's also 'not skinny'. He has a big frame and with proper strength training and nutrition in the NBA he can eventually weigh 220lbs easily.

For context, Kasparus currently weighs 205lbs - the same as Tyler Herro. It took Tyler 5 NBA seasons to get to Jaku's college-level weight, which is pretty insane to think about given that they are approximately the same height. The difference is within their frames. Herro has narrow shoulders and thinner joints (wrists, ankles, forearms, etc.) - hence why he has struggled to put on (and keep) weight during his NBA tenure thus far. His narrow shoulders are also the reason why he has a 'negative' wingspan (his arms are actually quite lengthy). Jaku has broader shoulders and a bigger frame than Herro, which is why he already weighs 205lbs and has the potential to be a lean, mean 220lbs in the future.

Comparing Kas and Herro is like comparing apples to oranges. The main reason why Kas's size is such an advantage is because he is a true 1. Herro is tweener guard: he doesn't have the skills to play PG full time, while not strong or lengthy enough to guard 2s. Also, they both play at a different pace: Kas likes to play more fast/up-tempo, while Tyler is more of a ballstopper and lower IQ

Lol smh broski

Its the 20th pick… i mean weve had daequon cook, simien, dorrell wright around that pick.

There is a chance we will wish we had moved the pick to make a deal and move a contract.. probably couldve attached it along with wiggins to trade for a future unprotected pick that we can then use on a bigger deal.

Kasparas is very raw, he can still turn out to be a good player.. but it’s on him to do the work.. we barely know the guy, we didnt even scout him… taking a point guard just because we needed one, reminds me of when we took Napier… and i liked napier in college but we know how he turned out..

And we've drafted Michael Beasley and Justise Winslow with lottery picks lol. Lottery picks are always 'unknowns'.

I like KP's chances.

Just saying that comparing their physical profiles is irrelevant because of their differing skillsets/playstyles.

We did scout him. We would’ve had multiple years of work on him, from the Euros to College hoops. We didn’t get him in for a workout, so we couldn’t put him through our own process and meet and greet before the Draft, but we definitely would’ve spent considerable time on him.

I see it, Ware looked disinterested yesterday

Spo/Heat aren’t going to allow that from anybody, Ware knows he’s got to better. Motors can be developed, the Heat have made great progress with him on that. I’ve seen Ware engaged the struggle will be seeing if we can get that nightly.

Kasparas has much better lateral defensive movement to Herro already. Can slide his feet and stay in front of his man. We’ll see if he gets bodied and picked on like Tyler does, where teams try to hunt the switch or take him down low. My guess is he will be able to add strength and hold his own.

Glad to see the kid drain some jumpers. He shot it at a pretty good clip. Hopefully he continues to put up more ppg than turnovers

Lebron liked napier in march madness. Because napier was unstoppable throughout the tournament.. that Didnt mean he wanted to play with him. But the heat assumed napier would be attractive to lebron.. so they took him anyways, even though his measurables were quite bad..

They had a few deals that they thought couldve kept them competitive for another finals run and tried to sell that to lebron.. like luol deng, and supposably had a deal in place to bring in pau gasol..

Lebron ended up leaving for cleveland anyways and the gasol trade didnt happen
