They will need to tighten up the rotation with trades, etc. but Battle is a keeper. May be the best 3 point specialist we will have ever had…ever.

That is why this was the best Summer League performance I have seen from a team.

For a first game it was so dominant for also being a first game with some obvious rust.

It was wildly entertaining. They are buying in and developing.

It's fun to watch great defense when everyone is playing for the team not themselves!!!

If Gradey doesnt make serious strides making open shots this year I think you go with Battle in your rotation over Gradey.

There was one play IIRC when Shead gave the ball to JKW and JKW went to the hoop but it looked like Shead was thinking kick it back I'm open smdh.

Gradey needs to earn it this season. At the same time there's no rush with him. His contract is under control for the next two seasons and he needs to get stronger. People say sell on Gradey while he has value. But for who? and don't tell me Lively.

Ingram said we're making the playoffs.. I like that confidence even if it might not seem like much.

You remember correctly. I commented in the GDT when it happened.

When he's free from 3 I expect a swish at all times. His concentration is excellent. He is limited physically but plays as hard as he can.

I think he'll have a game this year where he hits 8+ threes.

I hope Dick starts well and we package him and IQ for an elite scoring PG.

Carter Bryant looks like DPOY potential.

Ya, like having Dell Curry with legit size to guard SG/SFs.

I liked him too but certainly wasn’t BPA. It is kind of guaranteed he’s going to be pretty good though if he’s with the Spurs it seems lol.

A lot of these guys in summer league are being asked to perform in roles they either aren’t suited for or aren’t ready for. Ochai last summer is a good example.

Not everyone is a creator or will eventually be a creator, and that’s fine. So many evaluations of players are based on comparisons to the greatest in the game today. There are likely only to be 1 to 2 a year on average that even comes close to those lofty expectations. Doesn’t make guys trash or a bust. I expect CB, as one example, to look a lot better playing off Wemby’s gravity.
