The Celtics now have both of my summer league sleepers in Queta and Minott heh I'm sure I overrate Minott, but I've been hoping we'd find a way to give him a chance for years now.

crzyyafrican makes the best sigs, quite frankly

I've liked queta since his sac day and minott always looks great playing the dubs. brad stevens doing his thing, as always.

I remember the sickening feeling of Q outplaying Wiseman in G League. Good times!
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

I would love Landale as a backup energy big (on a minimum contract). Think he had playoff rotation minutes a few years ago with the suns. However the dubs already have backup bigs, need a starter.

I think we did too and he would have stuck around if it wasn't the off-court stuff.

Didnt know there was off the court stuff. Thought he was just a salary throw-in in the Poole / Paul trade.

There was some shoplifting stuff. I thought it was here in SF but it got him cut from Was, instead.

The only off court stuff I heard about was afterwards, when he was in Washington. Some dumb thing like shoplifting .

Yep, I got my shoplifting news mixed up. Thought it was here, not the DC area.

I'm late to this thread, but has anybody discussed maybe Ben Simmons at the vet min? He has a terrible history, but I could see him maybe spotting Dray for minutes, and Kerr wouldn't have to play him when closing out games, so the shooting/free throw issue would be mitigated?

I want to scream “no”, but it might be okay. Couldn’t he be A rich man’s Looney?

Re: More Free Agent Talk
I would take Simmons. Size was an issue in the playoffs getting pummeled inside. Not having another ball handler became an issue with Curry out.
With how stacked some of these teams are getting my biggest concern is the roster being devoid of enough talent regardless of position or skillset.

The concern wound be a lack of shooting.
Dray
Jimmy
Jk
Simmons
And sometimes podz.
It's 50/50 that they even attempt a wiiiiiiide open 3 pt shot let alone make it.
