Can't move and undersized can be used to describe all the en-vogue Cs, including the best player in the League.

Jokic + Sengun and Sabonis

Since when is Jokic undersized?

Segun and Sabonis are both more mobile than Broome.

Same with McCain. The in game reps of tossing him lobs would be really valuable come the regular season since the second unit will be more up tempo. Not really a huge deal since they'll be training together anyway, but I'd love to see that synergy early.

I always thought Bona should be more of a lob option. 4-6 easy points off the bench. Hopefully with McCain, VJ and Watford we will see more of that as they have the passing chops.

I was really high on him last year had him as a target until McCain slid. Really interested in seeing if he get some run this year with the Wolves or if he's just a SL hooper.

I couldn’t figure out why he can’t do anything but score when he’s long and athletic. 1 reb, 1 assists and 1 steal.

Lazy take. If you’re actually watching the game and not box scores, he’s had a ton of great passes, Legler pointed it out on multiple occasions.

Wizards should shop Sarr after this game.

Ace is sitting out this game. Did rookies sat out this much games before?

The way I see it, we already have a clear understanding of what VJ brings, so our focus has shifted toward evaluating the PF and C positions. We’re currently assessing Broome and Barlow at power forward, and Bona at center. Meanwhile, Mintz, JHS, and Sallis are simulating the roles of our guards.

If Edwards ends up underwhelming like Council did, we can reduce Oubre’s minutes at PF and play him more at SF. That would allow us to rely on a rotation of Watford, Walker, Barlow, and Broome to cover most of the power forward minutes.

Barlow had a good game for us. He seems to have great athletic abilities, but cant shoot.

I fear we may regret passing Tre, HE will score 20 points easily on the nba.

There was never a question of him scoring. Whether he becomes a great player or not is all about what else he brings to the table. I wouldn't have been comfortable picking another Cam Thomas at #3.

VJ is obviously a better athlete and defender, but the shooting diff is absurd, as Tre seems to be an outlier shooter, both as a catch and shooter and off the dribble. Time will tell who will be better, but i dont think VJ shooting will come even close from Tre. The question is how much Edge shooting can improve so he can be an allstar.

What does Tre bring that we don't already have in McCain & Maxey?

I think he´s a better shooter and passer than Maxey ( i gotta see more of Mccain this year because he didnt played too much). I think he´s more of a lead guard than MAxey, since his vision is better and hes way better as an off the drible shooter. He wasnt my first option ( it was Bailey, Tre and VJ) , but i preferred him than VJ before the draft, since his shooting seems crazy. But i think VJ will be a pretty good player too, i´m just a little worried about his shooting.

He's a shooter, but what else will he be? If VJ is the better all around player then we made the right choice, and my bet is that VJ will be the kind of winning player that good teams covet. Will he shoot the lights out like Tre? No, but he'll more than make up for it with his playmaking and defense.

Not liking Tre is one thing, but calling him Cam Thomas is just wrong. That’s like calling Kon Doug McDermott.
