Unfortunately he isn't in as good of shape as he is portrayed here.

I think his biggest weakness right now is that he is just obviously not in NBA shape. He needs to get stronger, which is typical for a big his age, but his conditioning is also quite bad. He gets noticeably winded after a few minutes of game time and they've had to play him in short spurts. It looks like the overall talent is real, though.

It seems like a lot of teams don't want to play their high draft picks in summer league. I guess they don't want to risk them getting hurt by by some
G league guy trying to make a name.

Tidjane and KJ continue to look like sophomores who have been in the system and have added strength and confidence which is great.

Liam another solid game.

Sion is a 2nd rounder, like Dort I think his 3 pt shooting will need time. 0/5 thus far but makes are coming.

Kalkbrenner- quiet 7 blocks in 2 games. I think he has been good overall but a lot of his flaws showing which made him a 2nd rounder. Strength needs to get a lot better to help with rebounding and defense but if he is Nick Richards type of player next 3-4 years that is a good 2nd round pick.

Yep. Expect Kon to play the Mavs game for at least some of it, then be put on the shelf. Hopefully he can have a much better performance to carry forward. Doesn’t have to slay giants, just demonstrate some shooting, passing and a little defensive proficiency please.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the rookies and young hopefuls handle the remaining games. McNeeley is already our SL rookie star, with KJ and Tiddy vying for best non rookie honors, with Sims and Walker Jr in that mix as well.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Steph Ready summer league sighting - interviewing Trae Young. Let's just say there's more of her. Lot's more.

Really like what I've seen of Djurisic in a couple of Hawks games - smart, tough, with a solid all around game. Liked him last year as a prospect.

If Ashley was involved, I'd be OK with big Steph and Eric Collins.

The inclusion of Eric Collins caught me off guard but I’m here for it

yeah i saw him getting winded, but really who cares, thats the easiest thing to fix. the touch and awareness is fantastic. i love seeing him get the ball above the 3 point line and create.

They already have guaranteed contracts, they probably play them enough to satisfy some fans then let the others fight it out to try and secure a spot.

i know the Australian league use Summer League for scouting as well. It's a big audition for leagues around the world.
