I liked a few things last night but the first thing I noticed was Brea does have a pure shot. And that shot will stick around the league

Malauch - does have some room to grow -- this is almost needs to be a redshirt year. Get in better shape, work on his game

Dunn and Oso have been in the weight room - noticeable

Looking forward to seeing more

Brea's experience certainly shone. He just looked more mature and "seasoned" out there vs a bunch of younger, less experienced prospects which helped him make good decisions on when and where to take the shot. All that being said, he looked below average athletically. Not unexpected but he moved like a late 20s player. But seriously, he all he needs is to run around and pop out from screens like Klay to have value

Maluach....again not unexpected. He looked raw, seems to struggle out there with the speed and pace of the game. He was a deterrence for sure defensively but on the offensive end, he's definitely not like DeAndre Jordan type who can just get up and dunk everything because he doesn't have the explosiveness. I agree that is probably a red shirt year. I'll try not to put too much stock in his rookie season.

Dunn and Oso looked like they've been in the league a year. Just looked confident, looked bigger and in particular, Oso seems to be pushing his weight around more which is a great sign for his prospects at the 5.

I think both Brea and Huntley look very good in the first game. It makes a ton of sense as they were both 5-year college players and are pushing 23 ... nearly the same age as Dunn and Ighodaro. That's an extra 8000 to 10000 hours of basketball fundamentals and play over Maluach. Our 10th pick is certainly raw but I can only imagine what he could be like at 23. At a minimum he will bring real rim protection unlike our other top center we drafted a few years ago.

Ryan Dunn and Khaman Maluach are out today for the Suns to balance their minutes with a game coming tomorrow as well, per the team.

Rasheer Fleming remains out due to right knee soreness.

That is stupid. Not even worth watching. Hope Brea drops 30 with 10 3's

Well, the intensity on these games are pretty high and you don't want to put extra pressure on their bodies.

What is stupid IMO is to put back-to-backs in Summer League too.

I expect Brea and Oso to rest tomorrow. Today we can put our attention on them and Huntley. Boogie Ellis is interesting too.

Flemming probably won't play next game either otherwise they could've played Dunn in this one and rested him for next. Hope he's good to go for any of the SL games.

Oso is our best player out there. He does a bit of everything and is a great connector.

His floater can save him as a scorer. He has hit already two nice floaters with a foot in the paint.

Twelve points down at halftime. The team is much worse without Dunn and Maluach, no doubt about it lol.

Boogie Ellis is too small to be efficient on a scorer role. Other than Oso and Brea all the team is struggling to add anything positive and we losing the rebound battle.

If you are a top 5 pick I can see only a couple games

2016 Ben Simmons is the only top 5 player to play every game in the past 10 years for summer league

He had a similar attack the close out drive and slam in the first game. Feels like he's found hops that wasn't really on display in his rookie season.

He had a few good dunks last season but it seems like he just needs a bit of confidence to take it up strong sometimes.

I think his jumper is probably not fixable if the HC is not really looking to set him up to shoot a few like they did with Maluach.
