Great to know, unsuscribed League Pass because of that.

That's a flaw that can be worked on and get better at over time. Like the fact that Dallas is playing him as a wing, if he's gonna be a superstar, you want him at SF instead of PF, especially with an AD beside him at the 4. Dallas is a huge team

He had 3 finishes at the rim without dunking, including two left hand finishes.

Then drew multiple foul calls at the rim.

Not sure what you're watching.

Maybe you watched game2 only, he's missed bunnies in both games, some of those foul calls at the rim should have been finishes too

Yang on a back to back was obviously winded. Going to need to work on that, but even with some turn over issues was still the best blazer on the court. Might not be the best player in the draft but definitely going to be a fan favorite with his playmaking.

Standard practice to shut down a Summer League star after two games. It would've been stranger if he'd kept playing.

I kind of feel like 3 games should be the sweet spot for the top rookies to play. One game to get the nerves out, second game to establish a comfort zone, and the last game to experiment.

The experimenting can happen simultaneously. It definitely did for Flagg, as Kidd wanted to see him at the point.

Nope. Defensive beast already. It's ok if a young player has to develop. The motor and instincts he shows are in the you can't teach category. One of those have to see him play types as I agree O box scores don't paint a good picture so far. I'd say they rather paint an incomplete picture.

He was never a 'scorer' in college. He's as good 3 point shooter. You hope that part of the game develops.

He made a statement prior to the SL that he cares about defense #1. He's going into that role. He's smart because he will make $250M in the league and not flame out like someone like Tre Johnson who is the least valuable archetype

I mean, he played one college season and didn't start but for a handful of games. Sure he has a 3&D profile coming into the league but it's fair to say the O has room to develop. I think we agree about the D being his initial calling card and that has been impressive.
