amari and bassey could legitimately be our 2nd and 3rd bigs this year. there's zero competition for those minutes.

amari's offensive game is so trash he absolutely needs to be an amazing defender and rebounder to get any minutes whatsoever this year

guess that was the key to baylor finally making a 3. he needs to shoot from the logo bc all his shots from the real 3 pt line are always short.

Imagine playing a whole season, even though not many minutes, that season ending on draft night, you fly over and play a week (less) after landing here. Everybody else season has been over.

Edit: also imagine it being SUMMER LEAGUE.

he's an interesting swing because of the size, rebounding and passing but the scoring package is not NBA level in any form or fashion

gotta wait until the season starts to really evaluate baylor. this is basically G league level competition. but if you think that'll stop me from thinking he's gonna average 15.8 ppg this season, think again

Have you never seen him play? He's arguably the best passing big from this draft class. Can handle the ball like a guard, can bring the ball up the floor, drive on his man, has some post up moves..good screener..

I can't handle some of the takes on here during the first 5 minutes of a game..I should just stay out of game threads during the 1st quarter of games lol..ya'll are so reactionary.

Dallas shut down Cooper Flagg, who is even younger. Gonzalez has just finished the Spanish league season, so we're grateful that he'll play a couple SL games.

very unusual prospect.
what is even a comparable type of player? Rob Williams? Royce White? Trevion Williams? less-defense Dennis Rodman?

Yup..and Hugo played in like double the amount of games this past season compared to Flagg. And Hugo's season ended like 2 months later than Flagg's did..
