Not really. He moves his feet very well on defense and he sets a mean pick. He just doesn't play above the rim.

He's a much better shooter than he's shown here.

Charles Bassey may be walking through that door.

I understand if the cost to move up to 31 was 3 or 4 second round picks, not wanting to pay that price for Fleming who is an unknown. But Stevens should have stayed put and taken someone at 32.

That is a very good comparison. Unfortunately they both suffer from bad knees, but I definitely think Bassy should make the roster. He rebounds and defends like he is very hungry and I love that. Even if he is somewhat limited, he. Definitely has something he can bring to the table.

Gray out there at the very end and he looks absolutely tiny. Not to slight him, but he looks so slight.

Celtics have 15 players. They are not going to cut anyone in summer league and they definitely won’t be adding a 16th salary. They may need a spot for Lillard and who knows maybe even Big Al.
If Bassey makes the team it will be a while.
May have to invest in black coffee

Beggars can't be choosers: Considering the poor state of the Celtics Bigs, they basically need to sign Bassey.

No because they would be that much more over the second apron. The decision to move down had absolutely nothing to do with basketball.

Total tunnel vision, which is good given how often he has thrown the ball away when he does attempt to pass. Very little court awareness when he gets the ball.
