Yep I think he has to play PG in 08-09 when the team didnt have a proper backup. Solomon was a Euroleague find because the Raptors capped out with the JO trade, was too erratic with the ball. Triano had Parker step in and he did well handling the ball considering he was a catch and shoot guy for his entire tenure with the Raptors
I still remember that stretch fondly. Calderon goes down so Parker is tasked with being the back up point guard, Solomon goes down so Parker is now the starting point guard. Goes on to average 13/7/7 until Calderon comes back.
He was such a fundamentally sound player.
