Anthony Parker is one of the most underrated Raptors ever.

He could handle the ball, pass, shoot, and defend. Ultimate glue guy who didnt care about stats.

I remember he had to play point guard for a couple games for us back in the day and he did not look out of place.

Yep I think he has to play PG in 08-09 when the team didnt have a proper backup. Solomon was a Euroleague find because the Raptors capped out with the JO trade, was too erratic with the ball. Triano had Parker step in and he did well handling the ball considering he was a catch and shoot guy for his entire tenure with the Raptors

I still remember that stretch fondly. Calderon goes down so Parker is tasked with being the back up point guard, Solomon goes down so Parker is now the starting point guard. Goes on to average 13/7/7 until Calderon comes back.

He was such a fundamentally sound player.

Boyles is draymond green

Defensively...possibly.

Offensively I think he's gonna show more but just about getting his conditioning & feel back obv due to the injury. He showed more scoring ability from the mid-range to post than Draymond did so I still think he can add more value on that end. I guess they've really decided to treat out his outside shot early but I think he'll look better once the get him some touches out of the PnR as the roll man vs as a spot up shooter like OG which is obv not at all his game.

Barnes shot looked so much smoother. And considering how his 3 has turned out I’m not gonna get my hopes up on Boyles

Speaking of which I’m a little concerned Barnes didn’t really epmhasize he was working on his 3 pointer in that interview. I really don’t know what to expect from him this season but it can’t be a repeat of last year. Needs to take a leap

I mean you asked for an example of someone that is not well spoken and he wasn’t. He’s shown great improvement in that area. That interview was night and day difference
