No one is doubting the skill, but its the size. He's small even by point guard standards. Can he develop point guard skills? Is he going to be able to defend other guards?

He's an SG with a PG size. I didn't really see the athleticism that much. I'm sure he can jump out the gym but what I look for in undersized SGs is foot speed. At that stage of the draft you can find negatives on every player. So it doesn't say much time will tell.

Short but his wingspan is +6 he plays bigger than his height.

+6 still only gives him a 6-6 wingspan.

He honestly doesn't look much bigger than Shead out there. Imagine going up against a guy like IQ who is 6-4 with a 6-8 wingspan, and we harp about IQ's defense.

Not going to win many games missing 16 free throws, but at least they got it done. Good experience trying to win a close game after the blowout yesterday.

But lots of stuff to work on, especially offensively.

The undersized SG who impressed me more was Pettiford. His jumper is legit.

There was some study a while back and like 30 percent of these guys have a D1 athlete or a pro in their immediate family. Basketball is more about genetics than any other sport by alot. Nfl was second at like 15 percent.

I’d rather keep Lawson and trade dick for whatever the best package you can get is.

Loved what I saw.

His offensive game will come around. Kid is special.
