Man how the hell did Chomche improve so much in just a year? He look like a completely different player out there.

Just imagine him when he’s 22-23. He really might be our best prospect

Last year he couldn't move without fouling. He's made a big stride. I really wish his ran hard all the time. I see him dogging it on breaks when he could easily get back into the play too often. I wouldn't let him see an NBA minute until he breaks that.

Unfortunately can’t see them doing that with their regular roster as constructed though. Barnes’ effort level varies depending on his mood and RJ and Ingram don’t really defend either.

It’s worth aspiring to and trying to get a team culture there though.

I would say yes because Jase seems like the type of player we need more on our roster....We have so many defensive minded first players already.....Also Jase is not a bad defender either....Jase upside as a scorer is much more higher than Sheads.....Jase will fit well with the Magic though so good for them at 25..

Solid. Better as game went on. Impacted winning.

Defensive menace.

Looked a little winded coming off and injury, but the hype is real. Kid is good.

i mean most here werent even sure if he would play summer league given his mcl injury, hes missed alot of time, also im assuming one might be a bit trepidatious coming off such a major injury.

he looks miles better than last year. still got some stuff to work on but great progress so far.

CMB was looking better and better as the game went on, some injury rust and first game nerves but the man can play.

Only issue is that I cant see him and Barnes sharing the court unless its at PF/C.

Chomche had 23 points in 5 SL games last year.

He already has 18 through 2 games. He has easily been the most improved player on this roster. He still needs another year to marinate in the G League but hes going to be ready for NBA minutes fulltime next year IMO.

The most impressive thing about Chomche has been how he moves his feet, and how quickly he gets off the floor. His ability to keep up with smaller guys on the perimeter is rare for a guy that big. Chomche is what Maluach fans think he is  (Chomche is only 8 months older)

What a steal in the 2nd round

I know Shead is a great dude but he’s like everything I hate in a PG on offence lol.

Just a very rough watch on that end. Absolute dog on defence though.

I think hes been asked to be more assertive, because he played like a true point guard last season.

He looked just fine sharing the court with Mogbo and Scottie is ten times the player Mogbo is. We actually looked much better when it was him and Mogbo in the backcourt

CMB is just a disruptor on the defensive end. I think I found his nickname :)

And the offensive players that CMB/Scottie will have to go against will be 10 times the players we faced today. It can work in certain lineups but not something we can rely on this upcoming season, maybe in a few years once CMB has filled out.

Well good thing we won’t be “relying” on it bc we have Jakob. But I personally think it will be decent more often than not. Agree to disagree, we shall see once the season starts

Man I really hope CMB improves his shot because he pretty much has everything else. He even has a pretty good handle, at one point he brought the ball up the court and got rid of the pressure like it was nothing. It's really simple , when he's on the floor good things happen.
