Honestly, I posted a game thread comment here by accident and decided it was fate to post the first prophesy that came to mind and behold the truth flowed through me.

Then I did it again.

I would take a winning road record then worrying about winning more than OKC.

Beal to the clippers after buyout. Damn. Imagine getting paid to stay away from the team

Lots of smoke about expansion, probably a couple years off. Might reset everybody's salary cap problems, and add more parity to the league as it erases the best constructed teams' depth. If we could only protect 7 right now. Who you got?

As of right now i'd have
Paolo
Franz
Suggs
Bane
AB
Jase
Penda

Some of the other guys probably have more trade value than the rookies, but i value that team (cost) control on the young guys. Probably a pretty good argument that low cost productive guys have a lot more value.

Heat fans still supporting Riley thinking Jaime Jovic and a pick is an overpay for pre-injury Dame...

It’s a bit of a perfect situation. He gets a statue and immortalized while the blazers sit on a lions share of assets for dealing him. Love when it works out that way!

I agree with those fans as Dame at 35 is toast.

Given how Lillard looked in playoffs and how much of a disaster him and Giannis actually were.... Riley is smart to not getting him.

Hindsight is 20/20 but when Dame asked out of POR, he was a hot commodity without injury concerns

I now see that these bought out players get both the old and the new salaries; Lillard will now make 70M a year BECAUSE he blew his leg out.

The next CBA needs to correct this.

Why? He signed a guaranteed contract. That money is his. The team is free to make it non guaranteed if they have injury concerns.

Is Jure Holiday being bought out from Portland?

Also another Portland player Hansen Yang has been good.

Now Dame is coming back also. However, West is in an arm race. lol. But they will be fun to watch

Why?

Lillard didn’t choose to get waived. The Bucks did.

Now he is 35 and just got a 3 year $42 mil deal. This will be alot like Paul George as he won't live up to it.
