Kolek’s decision making has been pretty lousy these first two games. I don’t think that has anything to do with the rough play. He needs to be better or else we’re going sign Smart or Brogdan to take his place.

Kolek looks sped up...he looked more composed last summer league.

He could be pressing...

Maybe he’s not engaged enough because he’s already played real games and doesn’t need to prove it anymore.
He looked like a back up who could hold it down well enough for 5 minutes per half. I don’t think he’s a back up who’s going to be able to lead the team for 2 weeks is JB goes down with an injury. That’s where smart and Brogdon makes sense

Lot of whining and I see McCullar had 30? Huk had 9/13 and 3?

They shot 6 for 37 from 3. It's hard to compete when a team shoots that poorly. McCullar looked good, at least in the box score. I just got home. haven't watched the game yet.
Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

As for the Jets . . . just keep it entertaining.

I am excited about Diawara. He plays fast and furious. Has disruptive hands on defense, runs the fast break like no one else in the Knicks, has really impressive handle for his size (totally unexpected), and can finish at the rim. It's a solid combination. The kids is still very raw, but if we ciach him the right way he had the food to make an impression.

McCular has a solid game, was also really impressed with Hukporti.

I wouldn't expect too much from our young dudes just yet. The FO is totally okay with putting these guys on the Jericho Sims/Miles McBride plan and having them develop over several years.

I watched the game on delay and really liked McCullar who scored a highly efficient 30 and played D. Also thought Diawara looked really good: strong, large, good court sense, passed, plays D, and just looks like he can play. Huk was OK, Beauchamp was as bad as can be, Nnaji was ok, Yaba Daba played well for a few moments, Pacome had a horrible game, and Kolek looks like a shell of the player we saw last season. Dink Pate has size, energy, and if he could shoot, he'd find a place. He's a raw talent, but I don't know if we have the patience to develop him.

Anybody notice that huge guy Lofton Jr.? He has a shape similar to Zion at his fattest.

Two absolute disasters in a row get a real coach what are we doing? The kids need professional development from someone with experience not Thibs' challenge guy. Nobody knows wtf they're doing...

I was hoping to get a look at Gonzalez today for BAF purposes but he didn't play and I didn't watch. Looks like I didn't miss much. How was McCullar getting his?

These are uncharacteristically bad passes from him. He didn’t make such bad decisions with the ball during the regular season last year. Kolek should be chewing these other teams up in SL.

I’m not sure that it’s fat. That dude is thick. He moved pretty good up and down the court. But he doesn’t seem to have a neck.

Imagine if they snuck Josh Hart into summer league. McCullar could get real minutes next season

Oh and I thought that McCullers showed some dog and athleticism. I think it all comes down to his ability to show some consistency from his outside shot.

Kolek better get himself engaged on the court because he’s done nothing thus far in his career to the point where he can slide by. He needs to bring that dog with him each and every day he walks onto the court.
