Rui+Knecht for a starting 3+D guard?
I think Rui and Knecht makes the most sense to be traded by the Lakers.
Trade can include Kleber or Gabe as expiring filler.
Lakers would be looking for a starting 3+D player, one that can guard 1-3. Defense is key here, a reliable defender on 1st option guards.
Who might the Lakers be able to trade Rui+Knecht for?
Thinking a player like Dort, KCP, DJJ, Herb, Hart, Caruso, Brooks, DDV

Of the names you list, KCP and Brooks are probably the only ones gettable for this offer

Knecht + Vincent for DJJ+ Kobe Brown (filler)
Defense wins draft lotteries!

Could SRPs or a swap option.
What about Thybulle?

Thybulle’s probably gettable. I don’t think SRPs or a swap move the needle on the rest, but in all fairness I’m not particularly high on Knecht as a prospect.
OKC isn’t going to move Dort or Caruso for a “meh” package coming off a title run, Herb can’t be traded IIRC because of his extension (and this offer is about 2 firsts short regardless), and NYK/MIN have no reason to want to downgrade Hart/DDV

Grimes S&T? It would end up being kinda complicated and probably need a 3rd team to take salary to work.

Re: Rui+Knecht for a starting 3+D guard?
Haywood Highsmith for Dalton and the non guaranteed deal of Shake Milton. Allows Miami to dip back below the tax threshold after the release of Milton and adds a young shooter into their developmental pipeline. Lakers keep Rui and get Highsmith who is a good 3 and D role player and would fit seamlessly into their Lakers rotation. He is also on an expiring deal so he doesn’t affect the cap space plans for the Lakers. He can also probably be resigned for a very reasonable deal.

I would add DJJ to that list.

I think this package is probably enough for Josh Green.

Re: Rui+Knecht for a starting 3+D guard?
I think if you buy into the KCP is now forever bad theme then a Rui for him would be a homerun for Memphis just based on contracts. However if KCP returns to form he is actually what Memphis needs to help bridge to our youth at the 2/3. But we are also starting the season thin at the 4/5, so could see us opting for Rui. But at full strength he is our 4/5th big battling with Clarke for minutes, while KCP likely keeps a bigger role all season.

Rui Knecht for Wiggins, or what trade?
Not sure it helps either team, and not sure either side is very intrested

Others will know, there were actual talks between the teams, but believe Lakers said no or something? I'll have to have a look when I'm home. Not sure on actual trade

I think the Lakers do not want to part with Rui, Dalton and the 2031 1st for Wiggins and a filler which is what the Heat are asking for. They would like to hold onto Wiggins to see how he fits with Powell and the rest of the team.

Rui+Gabe for KCP+Konchar
I think this trade might make sense for both. Grizzlies get 2 expiring deals to open up flexibility in 26 offseason.
PG: Ja | Pippen | Gabe
SG: Wells | Jerome | Cole
SF: Rui | Vince | Coward
PF: Aldama | Clarke | GG
C : JJJ | Edey | Landale
PG: Reaves | Goodwin | Bronny
SG: KCP | Knecht | Milton
SF: Luka | LaRavia | Konchar
PF: LeBron | Vando | Thiero
C : Ayton | Kleber | Hayes

I actually don't mind the bones of this deal for Hart. I just wouldn't want Rui. I like Hart a lot but the Knicks need depth in the worst way so I would prefer something like Hart for Knecht, Vanderbuilt plus some minor sweetner.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential
and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

I would hate both sides of it. Hart is a lot like Westbrook. Fit with LeBron would be similar.
Hart is a high effort defender, but is above average more than he is a stopper.
He also is an unreliable shooter.
On the flip side, Hart had his best statistical season last year, but he shines as a 6th man where he can push pace and take advantage of an inferior 2nd unit.
I like Vando, but IMO Hart means too much to our team to give him up for pieces like this.

I get it but as much as Hart helps us against other team's second units we don't have enough proven quality on our second units. Vandy and Knecht are two solid rotation pieces and Knecht is young. I like another injection of youth considering our lack of draft picks. A bench of Guerschon Yabusele, Jarred Vanderbuilt, Miles McBride, Dalton Knecht and Jordan Clarkson is much better than we had last year. With further vet minimum signings and more development from Hakpori, Koleck, McCuellar Jr and Diadet we might actually have decent depth. Not like Indiana of course but still much better than last year. We can't realistically contend for the title if our starters are averaging 35 minutes plus all 82 games of the season and playoffs. They are gonna get burned out.
