Shulga is dreadful
Walsh 8 or 9 fouls = bust
BS sold it for me today = bust
Lofton i like, undersized with no jump shot = Europe

Walsh, never seen him play well. In my opinion, the Europe player at a high level.

Scheirman can shoot and score.

Walsh is a little better compared to last year, but I don't know if that's enough to be in the rotation.

Hugo might end up ahead of Walsh in the pecking order.

There is no might. Hugo's feel for the game and skill set is on another level. If Hugo can improve he's 3 pt shooting to around 38-40%, he is a bigger version of D. White. Hugo has a chance at being special. People need to watch that game were he was on the same team as Egor Demin that was posted here. That's where you get a sense of his game.

I agree.

Walsh doesn't really have a feel for the game.
He's more athlete than bball player.

Hugo definitely has a feel for the game.
Like you said, has a chance of being special.

Future starter if Hugo shoots the ball well from outside.

Bassey is much better than Garza IMO. I kinda like Bassey. I think you guys should sign him

Looking like that's what Brad should have done.

The gap between Bassey and Amari looks pretty significant, even though they're only a year apart in age.

Hope we sign Bassey.

If Amari Williams is a rotation player this year, the Celtics are a 25-28 win team. So I guess it's all depends on what Brad Stevens is trying to do. Maybe that's what he is trying to do.

This guy knows his stuff.

Summer League means very little with regards to how good these guys are on an NBA floor.

A rookie who is still adjusting to the NBA game, pace, terminology, deeper 3 pt line, etc. Take it with a grain of salt.

Older guys (age 24+) who have 4+ yrs of NBA experience already? Of course they're gonna be good in Summer league. Bassey is doing what a player of his age and nba experience is supposed to do. It's not at all impressive. And it tells us nothing about how he would do against actual NBA competition.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Bassey has shown the world that his left knee is healthy.

We've seen Bassey play in actual NBA competition.

The injuries were the issue with Bassey.

But he's a legit NBA player.

It's whether Bassey can be a starting NBA Center or not, that's the question.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Jaylen Bridges looks a lot like Rick Foxx (I don't mean the way he plays, rather his actual physical appearance).

In my opinion. the Celtics center rotation is going to be:

1. Queta (this will be his 3rd year with the Celtics, familiar with Mazzulla, Brown, White etc. and what the Celtics are trying to do)
2. Garza (Celtics gave him two years guaranteed because they want him to play and see what he can do after having limited time everywhere)
3. Hopefully Bassey (he is a pro and is great at one of the Celtics biggest issues - rebounding)
4. A Williams (Celtics drafted him at #46 as a developmental player and expect him to play in Maine, because of 2nd apron issues, he may be the 3rd center)
5. Tillman - Celtics will play him more at the 4 if he plays at all.

That's it in my opinion unless the Celtics make another move.

Kenny Lofton is Zion Williamson without the actual skills.

He might be more durable, but when you are not contributing enough, what gives?

We should do like Knicks fans did with LeBron. Just assume he is ours when he is a free agent. I am already penciling in 2030. Flagg to Boston.

We do need to get him a Massachusetts girl, however. He can't fall in love with a cowgirl and nit want to leave.

Hahaha, if we are hanging our hopes on a Texan vs Massachusetts gal, it’s over. Flagg doesn’t strike me as wanting a pink-haired libtard.

They'd have to make another move for Bassey to be on the 15 man roster. At the moment, we have 15 guys on standard contracts and he's not 1 of them.

Also, all 5 of them technically are "pros". Guys playing in pro leagues in Mexico, Russia and Belgium are "pros".
