They changed it from unlimited fouls.

Nance is the only player I'd trust in an NBA game. He's acceptable as a 'break glass in case of emergency' big.

Ajax's inability to make simple basketball plays is infuriating. I've gone from being a huge fan of his potential to thinking it's time to move on. Livingston hasn't developed. Smith is invisible most of the time. I can see the intrigue with Bogo's size and shooting touch. I also notice, like most European bigs, he understands how to move without the ball. No one else is worthy of discussion. Hoping to see Sears soon.

I continue to be impressed by Livingston in Summer League. Pete Nance was also really good tonight. Unfortunately Tyler Smith continues to struggle. Bogi wasn't good but it was his best showing so far in SL. Ajax had moments of awesomeness and moments of awfulness
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Nance is the only dude that can give you a legit 10-15 NBA minutes right now. The problem with Livingston is that his offensive game is just never gonna translate to the big leagues as currently constructed. He needs to develop a consistent corner-3 because you hold your breath every time the guy puts the basketball on the floor. The "bully his way to the rim" thing is only sustainable against SL/G-league dudes, and he's not an explosive enough athlete to be an elite dunker spot guy. Ajax is cooked, whatevs (we all knew this), but Tyler Smith being a massive disappointment really sucks. Zero improvement with a full year in the organization. We really do need to bring in a new head scout and lock Horst out of the draft war room forever.

I always think about the terrible SL Larry Sanders had before his breakout season. What a generous thing for Larry to have done, to give me perpetual hope for every rostered player who stinks out loud in SL.

Honestly, though, this SL team has vastly outplayed my expectations. I thought they were going to be truly horrendous. I didn't think they got outplayed in this one, at least not by much.

How he played in the NBA was inversely proportional to summer league. He looked like Garnett combined w/ Dirk the 1st time or two. Did nothing when it counted. Then sucked in summer league, before having his lone good NBA season.

It's instructive summer league's more about instincts & attributes, as opposed to production/performance. George Hill was 0-20 in summer league, then became a borderline all-star in the NBA. Are you long or fast, can you get to spots, make reads on 0 & d, do you have some skills.

Just another name/scenario that changed the trajectory of this team. We had a weird hybrid of Ben Wallace/Worm-lyte locked up on a value deal and he decided he wanted to smoke weed and play pretend rapper instead.

10 year anniversary of his waive/stretch was just this past February. Would have been nice to have him for some of that time. Run out of the league for smoking weed, then the league stopped testing for it.

With Larry I think we can take solace in the fact that the plant was only part of it. I think there were some deep mental health issues there and iirc he just didn't love basketball.

For those that weren't around, Larry indeed had moments in SL where he made you think he was the second coming of KG. Hilarious to look back on now but that SL jumper looked wet.

I think Kidd was the main driver on Larry’s demise.

The thing that doesn't concern me w/ Smith is shooting #'s. He's always been overrated in this dept, but he's OK. It's just everything else. What notable strength does he have? He's static, confused, low energy, there's not a discernible physical component. What's getting people enthused?

He's a bad pick that gets me mad. If Bogo busts, who cares, at 47. It's a low hit rate pick. I doubt there'll be much for successes after. Maybe Proctor, which would be regrettable. It's just that in the low 30's, there's typically still plenty of useful guys left, there was that draft, & we didn't get 1.

He probably would have been traded if he was a good pick like his fellow draft pick that year who I still am pissed about. AJ Johnson and Donte two terrible trades for once I would like to see this team draft and develop a player since Giannis got here. Maybe it’s Livingston who still is only 21 he has looked the best this summer we could use his size at sf.
