"Those F'ers just have to be in the league 3 years MINIMUM before sniffing the floor.. MINIMUM!" FINCH, they then lose their value of their rookie deals..

You have 2 productive rooks, and won't even allow them to develop..

That is a death sentence as a coach in this new CBA.

I don't know, on Saturday night, it looked like TJ has been developing just fine....

I don't know what some of you people want. You simply can not have your cake and eat it too. Yes, the rookies need to develop, but if I play the rookies more, you will holler that we are losing games we should have won if we had just played the vets longer. :banghead: :banghead:

It feels fitting that they were discussing Christian Braun when this happened. I think he's got some of that same tenacity.

For those who are unaware, Wallace (the guy being interviewed) was our former director of player personnel for four seasons before Denver hired him last month

Braun leads the entire NBA in fastbreak points with 382 in total. That's more than Giannis Antetokounmpo. More than LeBron James. More than Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. More than some of the greatest transition players in NBA history.

All MIN need is to pair TJ with a quality outlet passer

I recently remembered that Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels, and TJ Shannon were in the same high school class.

Shanny has Okogie's motor, but with actual elements of offense to his game. I'm hoping that he develops a little change of pace, because sometimes discretion truly is the better part of valor. I know it's only Summer League, and he's significantly older than a lot of these kids, but he looks like he's developed nicely and could be ready to earn more minutes this year.

I've just been stewing on my thoughts about this summer league group all morning long. It's not a perfect comparison in terms of play style, but I think TJ Shannon might be our Jalen Williams.

What do I mean?

Williams gives OKC a guy who can slot in as a 1B behind Shai, but has a mindset and enough of a skill set to be a 1A on the court when Shai rests. We have been waiting for Jaden or Naz to grow into that role, but I don't know if they ever will. I don't know if Jaden has that mindset and I don't know if Naz has enough of that skill set. I think both Jaden and Naz top out as a 2A or 2B at best, but probably not a 1B.

TJ seems to have a LaVine-like killer mindset. He has just diverse enough of an offensive game and competes hard enough on the defensive end. And yes, I know that TJ is older than Jalen. I honestly don't care.

Last SL game TSJ (I will not call him TJ that makes no sense) took 14 3s making 5 for 35%. If he can do that on the regular that's just fine.

It makes no sense to me to skip the S and go straight to the J.

:banghead:

If Anthony Edwards named his son after him, his name would be Anthony Jr., not Edwards Jr. Otherwise all of his kids would be called Edwards Jr because they would each have his last name, and that would just be confusing with all of the kids he has.

I agree. People calling him TJ makes no sense whatsoever. He has a last name. lol

I get that he may go by TJ. But TSJ is just his initials. Essentially the same as listing NAW as NAW as opposed to typing out his full name.

I think either is fine on a message board.

Now we need to get back to real issues. Like if Dilly is the biggest bust since Anthony Bennett. Maybe since Darko Milicic. (Kidding, I’m kidding).
