Now I could see us trading Konchar/Cash/2nds for some dead expiring to waive and open a roster spot for a 4/5.

I believe FO would execute that trade in a heartbeat if it was on the table. I see nobody interested in 2 years of Konchar. And FO doesn’t believe it will change any time this season, so they might prefer to find 4/5 instead or someone who can grow.

I really just don't think we have put that on the table yet to be honest, we are talking about improving our last roster spot so the motivation is just not very high. Likely only offer one 2nd or no cash has been offered so far. And it isn't really 2 years of konchar if the team is getting rid of a even worse player the 1st year, Konchar would be a good vet influence that plays the right way.

I could see us going after Kevin Love with that package, saves Utah from having to buy him out and gets cash/2nds. Maybe even a reunion with Kyle Anderson, utah saves a little money this season and get cash/2nds. Utah is full tanking and would welcome the 2nds.

We could always try getting Richaun Holmes on a minimum deal if we open up a spot. I'm not opposed to Anderson or Love either though.
