I'm hoping Simons starts the season elsewhere, but he was within a few TS% points of Jrue last year, and PP and Sammy should be good contributors on that count. We'll always have JB. Keta/Bassey should be decent on efficiency and boards.

Let's not forget Cs will be missing JT's 27 ppg.

Cs will need a scorer like Simons.

Not a News Flash:

Garza’s going to start this year. Fight me or not that’s what’s going to happen, enjoy.

Nah, it's all about usage. Tatum's shots will be spread around among 3-4 players.
They will miss his rebounding and defense more than his scoring.

LOL, sharting only puts him further down the bench.

It's not that simple.

The ability to score 1 on 1 and make tough shots cannot be just spread among 3-4 players.

Cs only have JB and White who have the ability to score when being guarded tightly.

Just take Game 6 against the Knicks.
Cs couldn't score when the 3s were not falling.

If it were that easy to spread out 27 ppg per game then there would be no need for supermax players like Jokic, SGA, and Giannis.

Why do you think teams pay such a high price for guys like Tatum?

Nah doesn’t seem like it’s really an impediment

Now losing Drew Peterson too?? The talent drain in Boston is real, y'all. Hope we recover from this in 16 years.

Peterson also one of the non-physical players of Boston.

It was time to move on.

my wishlist.

Dump Niang.
Trade Simons for a 10-15m player.
Get out the tax altogether.
Sign Dame.
Tank.

Even if we get the 6th or 7th pick. Cool.

Josh Mynot has great potential.

He was just stuck behind Randle in Minny.

It will be a battle for the starting PF spot and Mynot be far-fetched if Josh ends up the starting PF on opening night.

Get Simons out of here! Plenty of O from JB, DW, PP, SH and the lesser guys.

We really just need D from the center to augment that lineup.

A guy that plays only Rob's old role will be fine, though Garza has a different profile. JT would be thrilled to have a Robesque 5 to play with when he gets back.

If Amari Williams clicks with tatum, he'll be a great pick

I was trying to figure out a multi-team trade last night to get actual Rob back from a Simons deal somehow. Tough to manage, unfortunately.

Not true.

Game 6 of the Knicks series is proof of that.

When the 3s are falling, the Cs have a shot at winning, like in Game 5 against the Knicks.

But when the 3s are not falling, Game 6 of the Knicks series happens.

The Celtics need a dynamic scoring guard who can drive to the basket or get in the lane for floaters or jumpers.

Sam and PP are not enough to offset JT's 27 points per game.
