when he was playing like ass: it's just summer league, he'll look better with Melo, this isn't his format, KJ is hunting shots

but when he has a purple patch: see! see! he's good guys look!

They will continue to find things to nitpick.

As long as the discourse includes the understanding of the other side of the coin "they will continue to find things to defend" exists then we're still friends.

Anyone know if we win this (3-0) if it means we play extra games? I haven't bothered to ramp up on the format.

It's a valid excuse for a prospect to suck in his first few minutes of pro action, or even in the case of Salaün, suck through rookie season.

But it's soooo much nicer when they look good early and you just catch a glimpse of the upside.

Hey man, we need Kon and McNeely to hit. Could happen. Feels good to watch them look like real ballers. They do so many things right.

Kon's shooting is way worse off the dribble, but improving that definitely should be on his developmental program.

Someone needs to tell Baugh to move the damn ball, this is getting ridiculous

Happy to see Kon bounce back. Gotta get used to his production not always being exciting or key popping, but hopefully still impact full.

Now I'm getting ready for the team to shut him down after one good game.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

First game jitters bro. I have seen him play well at least a dozen times in real games.

He’s short most the time shooting off the dribble. Not sure why either.

Yeah Baugh is a complete waste of a 2-way spot imo. Especially with how loaded we are at guard now.

I actually really like Baugh defensively and feel like the tools are there offensively, but he just needs to move the ball more. Need quicker decision-making and intentional playmaking for others, not hunting his shot. That's not gonna be his role if he makes it in the league, he's not a scorer.

Yeah, Kon and McNeely hold value as connectors who fill the gaps on offense for LaMelo & Miller as options 1 and 2. Seems Sexton is option 3 which can be an import. As of now Miles is senior glue guy and option 4.

They were drafted into the ideal environment. They will see some open floor.
