Kon is immediately the best non-Melo passer we’ve had since Hayward and it’s frankly not that close. He’s so smart. So so smart

It's fun not being the team at summer league that looks like they have no idea what they're doing

Someone needs to tell Baugh to move the damn ball, this is getting ridiculous

He’s short most the time shooting off the dribble. Not sure why either.

His footwork is all off. That’s why. He’s hesitating into the jumper footwork and they’re either too close together or too far apart. Didn’t shoot them a lot at Duke and it shows

This is something he’ll continue to improve.

Yep. The bet is that motor + BBIQ + shooting + facilitation skills will offset his athletic limitations and relative length deficit. We'll see if that bet works out, I hope so.

Ah yes, we've entered audition scrum mode.

Kon looks extremely skilled dribbling to open floor, then making the right play from there. He won't break down a defense in isolation but he's adapted his game to leverage his teammates, so he won't even bother playing that way.

Good on Kon for settling down in the 2nd half, we absolutely need him to hit

I'm also glad the new ownership came in with the directive they want to win summer leagues. That was a point that was hammered before we started playing this year, the goal is to win the SL championship and it is showing... playing with a plan, playing the good players a lot, etc.

Not going to know what to do with myself with the additions of Kon and Sexton. Both who shoot the piss out of the ball

I would pay a large sum of money to watch our team put in Salaun and have him run clear out ISOs for the rest of the game.

McNeeley is no slouch as a playmaker.

Seem to have corrected the gap in playmaking, passing, dribbling, created by the Salaün pick. I guess he can hit as a spacing big.

LaMelo is going to love Sexton starting alongside him, with Kon, Mann, McNeeley off the bench.

Take your time healing your injury please, Josh Green!

Liam is also a much better shooter than he showed at UConn

It would be a roller coaster for sure, much more entertaining than what's happening now

Yeah, for sure. Such a wonderful basketball program in the great state of CT (high literacy rates, no inbreeding, and really high health outcomes/literacy).

Sexton, Liam, Kon all supply great passing and shooting. Sexton kicks in serious rim pressure. All missing ingredients.

Now get us a real center!
