only most games but sure if it makes you feel better. He will not be an above the rim guy in the NBA like actual "great" athletes. He's about average. Same vertical as Bub Carrington btw.

If only being a great athlete and functional athleticism was as easy as looking at a vert.

Being the lead guard like DLo or Harden would be the best situation for him. This also allows him to pump his assists numbers and hide him on defense.

43 mins of Tre Johnson looking like SGA 2.0

MUST WATCH.

Tre Johnson should have been the lead guard at Texas. Had he been given that role, he might’ve been projected as the No. 2 overall pick.

*30min mark, Flagg’s Montverde went up against Tre’s HS team. Flagg defended him entire game and Tre ended up being the top scorer of the game with 25pts on good %

Tre is probably my #3 guy this class. #4 is probably VJ.

Rest is a lot worse than Flagg >>> Harper >= Tre = VJ.

As a wizards fan I am definitely happy we got Tre. I thought we had no chance at 6 without trading up.

When Kon was taken at 4 I was like

Lightwork for Tre, the questions around his archetype are a long way from being answered though

I think he will be a Tyrese Maxey level player at the minimum in 3 years. I'm still mad we passed on him, I was his biggest champion on the Hornets board, but he also landed in the perfect spot for him and he would be stunted here with LaMelo and Miller taking the ball. Congrats to the Wizards

The thing I like about him is that his jumper is smooth, there's no...what's the word, struggle. It looks effortless, even when he's shooting free throws, it looks easy.

First two years should just be about muscle gains and improving on the defense. The shot skill is there and is enough to put him on the floor but he needs to be surrounded by guys that can play defense.

His archetype is Clarkson, Jamal Crawford, Malik Monk.. He may have more starting potential as he has more size and seems like a smarter player

Tre is a much better shooter than those guys. He shot every type of 3: movement 3s in both directions/off the dribble in both directions/pull up/step back and still shot 40% from 3.
