He said do not expect to see him by the 2026 playoffs.

Watch him force Dallas to trade away their rookie like he did the Cavs for Wiggins
Wiggins to me never had the mindset to live up to the hype. Everything suggest that Lebron not wanting to be involved with rookie Wiggins was the right decison. If anything, Wiggins has been the disappointment.

Because people have the option to wager on this. Why should it not be something to discuss on an NBA forum?

We need to do a straight top-16 seeding for the playoffs.
No more West vs East.
Just an insane amount of great rosters out West right now.

Nothing conclusive. The Mavs keep saying he should be back by January or February but Kyrie says he doesn't intend to return until he's sure he's 100% better and cautioned that he can't guarantee he'll even be back for the playoffs if they make it. I don't blame Kyrie considering the way the Mavs' medical staff kept rushing people back and made injuries worse last season

I would rather let Lebron walk for nothing next year than that offer.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

100%.

Wiggins was an athlete who lacked skill AND who lacked the focus and mentality to take it to high levels.

Wiggins has been a MONSTROUS disappointment. Lebron was quite correct on that one.

People thought Flagg was the final piece of the Luka trade.

FWIW I agree with the consensus and the Lakers need to ask for Gafford in this proposed deal.

This. Whole regular season and playoffs needs to be revamped. Time to modernize.

1. Top 16 make playoffs. If NBA wants to do the dumb play-in thing still, sure why not.
2. Selection special. Higher seed selects opponent. Any of the 16! #1 selects who they play, move on down the list. Really add value to the regular season.
3. Round Robin play. Play every team twice, home and away. 58 games. Remaining 24 based on SOS, interesting matchups (made for tv) and old rivalries kept relevant. If NBA wants to keep dumb in-season tournament, that can be part of 24 games.
4. Regularly scheduled game days. Everyone plays Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most teams play Saturdays. For those that don’t play Saturday, 2-3 Showcase games Sunday. Monday-Wednesday-Friday are NBA off days. 3 games for every team every week. No back-to-backs. With only very random exception is playing on holidays like Christmas. Stealing schedule from Football schedule.

yes. please. i dont want to spend my entire life waiting for this supposedly cyclical conference imbalance to cycle back.

the last time the conference imbalance was materially shifted toward the east, we had land lines, dial up internet, and cell phones with green screens and black text.

not sure its going to cycle back anytime soon given that most of the cities players prefer seem to be in the West.

I like it.

My only request: please bring back divisions with true rivalries!!!
Spoiler:
Think back to college football in the 90s.
Or college basketball in the 2000s.

Four divisions of 8 teams a piece.
Division winners are guaranteed a top-4 seed.
Really slant the schedule to heavily feature a top-heavy schedule.

And to keep things honest:
#1 seed goes to the division winner with the BEST OUT OF DIVISION RECORD!!!
Last place teams get relegated to a less palatable division!

I do sorta like the balls on LAL to move LBJ. Dont think it happens in the end though.

Gafford and Lively, Klay would be a bonus :)

Because the narrow streambanks of the Trade board can't contain the fecal floodwaters of fake Laker trades.

The league already did that by giving Dallas Cooper

Mavs do too. If things legit and the Mavs did let it get out it would only be to judge the fan bases response to a trade like this.

Personally as a Mavs fan I would not want this trade. I have no interest in the Mavs being part of the Labron swan song. I’m getting a headache just thinking about it. Plus I actually like PJ and Klay. I also do not want the Mavs giving up any picks for a 180 year old Labron James.

With that said, it’s not the worst Labron trade rumor I’ve seen. And Laker fans would love Naji.
