Bouknight+Yang vs Fears+Queen

Fears needs to sit out the SL and spend more time in the weight room. Dude is too small right now. I've been afraid of him becoming another Kira Lewis.

Queen’s style wont work because of how much physicality they’re allowing and with the length and athleticism of NBA players.

I think he needs to improve on his body, but I feel like some of his turnovers are a good thought but just off on the pass. It's not like he's getting ripped constantly when he has a guard on him. His point blank miss at the rim was pretty bad though.

In theory, yes. But in reality, there are a lot of talented guards out there. If he takes a step back and gives up that opportunity, it might never come back, and he could end up like Nick Smith Jr., James Bouknight, Cole Anthony, or Tre Mann

Hansen Yang is legit. He can really shoot the three, passes like a guard, and plays with a high IQ. He gets to the rim with smart footwork, doesn’t need much dribbling, and his length gives him real rim protection upside. I just dont know if he can defend in space.

Ryen Russillo called his shot with this one. Yang looks good

VJ's shot and handle can be worked on and improved. And honestly thay will come if he can keep his head on straight. There are a couple of non-basketball things about him that I really like. During the game they mentioned how he was being interviewed during the draft process and he stopped the interview mid way so he could acknowledge Tre Johnson when he was picked. That speaks to a level of maturity and awarness most guys his age do not have. And it is big. It translates into being open to learn and not making everything about you, speaks towards being a good teammate too.

Secondly VJ grew up in a tough environment for the first part of his life. He knows what it is to struggle and persevere. To make it this far is a testament to his grit and desire. Like others have said when was the last time we had a gritty player on this team...Jimmy?

Thirdly if he can develop his outside shot he is going to be a major problem. You guard him too close he will blow by you. You lay off of him he will hit the outside shot. Get your shot right VJ and you will feast.

He has a way to go, but if he can stay away from peanuts, bikes and Trae Young, in the playoffs, the guy has all the makings to be a force in this league. I was mid when he was picked but I see a lot of potential in him.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

I've seen multiple places that said something to the effect that VJ needs to get a left hand.

From the little I"ve seen from Summer League, VJ is very comfortable dribbling and initiating with his left hand. In fact most of the time he's dribbling it is in his left hand. He can get into the paint using his left hand. Haven't seen him finish with his left hand yet, but those saying he doesn't have a left hand, must be watching something else.

As long as we're not talking literal limb replacement I'm cool.

Know what NBA? Just make this sh** free for those present. It's fraud at this point with teams sitting high pick rookies that fans paid money to get a chance to see play early. Pathetic.
