Orlando Majic A New Makeover The Backcourt
Jalen Scruggs and Desmond Bane is this combination good enough to win the Eastern Conference Now?

I mean, yes, depending on health and how Paolo and Franz continue to improve.

The Backcourt was always gruesomely bad. Now you've you added an Allstar Guard, with one of the best backup PGs in the league. It gets better 10x.
Now everyone on the roster can play to their strengths

Two starting guards is not enough the win in the NBA 2026. The Majic gave up too much for Desmond Bane who is not a superstar. Overvalued player and no depth are a major concern. Injuries factored into this scenario puts the Majic at a disadvantage with nothing on the bench that can be good players. What is the solution? Good players available is the first step in the right direction. Who is on the list ?

Almost reads like AI mixed with english as a 2nd language.
who are these overvalued players? Two starting guards is definitely not enough to win in the nba. But the two forwards we have are better than the two guards. Does that matter? Injuries are something every team has to go through. Suggs is the only injury prone person on the roster.

Magic please, not Majic.
As for "nothing on the bench that can be good players", Jones was a starting PG in the past 2 seasons, so it's good enough for a bench player. Black is OK as a backup, with some untapped potential (#6 pick) and in addition we have Jase who played well during the summer league. That's a good depth in terms of guards.
Then you can add that we have 3 good center (Goga, WCJ and Mo) and as for forwards, assuming that Franz and Paolo play most of the minutes, having Isaac (if healthy) it's OK as the only good backup, but I see Noah getting some minutes as the season goes on based on his energy and D.

Man, we finally got our guard in Desmond and people are still wavering. lol.
I have high hopes this season. But definitely we need to have good PG play to get there. We will see...

Once these guys get some chemistry, I could see them competing against any team in the league.
