Three-time NBA All-Star Bradley Beal has agreed to a contract buyout with the Phoenix Suns and plans to join the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year, $11 million deal with a player option after clearing waivers, Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports told ESPN.

That's a steal. Beal as one of your best players making like 50M a year I don't love because I'm not convinced he cares all that much about winning. For 5.5M? Hell yeah.

I watched his film last season. I’m expecting a similar bounce Harden had from 17 ppg to 22 ppg last season. He’s also a much better defender on film than I thought. Passing lanes, chase down blocks. If he can buy into JVG’s system and at least be solid like Harden was last year it will be a huge get. CP3 is next

So hilarious. Yesterday all the media was saying if he went to the Lakers it’s a ring.. and as expected Twitter is being swarmed by Lakers people right now saying Beal sucks and won’t help the Clips.

Beal didn't work with KD and Booker because he needs to be on a team where he can have the ball in his hands and shoot at a high volume....so he joins the Clippers with Harden and Kawhi.

Beal worked fine off the ball in Phoenix. His play on the court wasn't the problem. It was his contract and his time missed in relation to that contract.

For what clippers are paying it literally cannot be a bad signing

Beal can still ball, but I'm not sold on his fit. I would have had the same reservations had he signed with the Lakers. End of the day he took the job where the lights don't shine as bright and there aren't crazy expectations, cant say I'm surprised.

Clippers won the off-season imo

Basically traded Norman Powell for Beal and John Collins.

Signed Brook Lopez to backup Zu.

If Kawhi stays healthy again they are my early season favorites to win it all. They are a deep team now.

It's also possible they sign CP3.

Kawhi is almost certainly going to miss his annual 30 to 40 games. Harden is unselfish, a great playmaker who often goes passive. Not a similar set up.
