Being forced to play PG for UConn towards the end of last season may have been good for his development even if it seemed to be bad for his stats and hurt his draft position.

Wait he played PG?

I can't get past his appearance. He's the true definition of don't judge a book by the cover. Kid can flat out ball. Put him at sf with the starting group please!

I truly get the excitement which I share, but as they say, “it’s just one game”. He shows great tools, athleticism for his size, sweet shot form and fast release, hands, passing vision, etc. There is a reason he was a top 10 HS prospect. Bringing in these vets will help the kids grow and develop while instilling some work and character ethic (I hope). Sexton is most likely starting next to Ball, absent another trade. But Liam could earn first reserve at the 3 if he keeps this up.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

If he can defend well enough, he may actually be a pretty versatile 2-4 who can shoot, pass and score a little if needed too. Somebody like...

Spoiler:
Nic Batum.

It's hard as hell to get a do it all wing. They are worth their weight in gold. If we got one at 29 in the draft, that's pure luck, lmao. But we've suffered more than any other fanbase in the league, we deserve some luck.

He was rated as the 9th best high school recruit in his class.

The funny thing is Nick Smith Jr was the 3rd ranked recruit in his class.

Liam has the physical tools though and is smart.

I rock one from time to time. I think headbands are badass. Tre Mann rocks one too. Plays with edge just like Liam.

I like that Liam and Kon play with edge. Sexton and Miles should lead the way in that department. We need it.

That Miami playoff series was the highlight of the franchise for me. I remember the arrogant Heat fans being so humbled on the ESPN message boards, and still thinking they were going to come back easily after they were down 0-2.

We really should have made the ECF. Heartbreaking to blow that game 6 against the Bucks

ESPN article on best performers in Summer League has McNeeley #3! Glad to see that….he deserves the kudos.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45763820/2025-nba-summer-league-superlatives-cooper-flagg-dylan-harper

Wonder if Liam will be playing again for the Summer League semi against OKC? Same for Kon? If either is managing even the slightest tweak of an injury keep them out.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
