It’s not about making me feel better, just pointing out how you bring the heat on yourself with what you say. Here you are again with the bait and switch… you said that Bam is the greatest player in the world, which you have said with full chest hundreds of times in here, and I love that you really like Bam and his game that much. He is a great player and deserves die hard fans like that… with that said, just be aware that most of us disagree with that specific statement, but do agree he is a great player. That does not makes us Bam haters.

I am making my weekly attempt to keep that notion in check in here before you run rampant again with your Bam love and we all hate him nonsense. Also, pretending your statement is green font worthy is disingenuous and we all know better and that you meant it with your chest.

Search keywords “best in the world” in 3ammy’s profile… you get 16 pages of results where he used those words. Any guess how many of those were related to Bam? More of those were Bam related than Wade and/or Jimmy. Most of those were also said in all seriousness/“straight face”. Guess how many of those led to people saying, well Bam can improve here and there… which then resulted in 3ammy’s over-generalization and accusations today where he swears all Heat fans hate Bam. I mean, just look at the words used on his post today for the clear example of how he instigates and then creates these narratives: “ (mainly Heat fans) will try to tell you with a straight face that he isn't the best player in the world.”

I know he's smarter than to actually think that, I don't think there's even a single Heat fan in the world over the age of like 15 who legitimately thinks Bam is the best player in the world. Best defender in the world is what I mostly recall seeing him say and I believe he's serious about that and that it's also not an insane claim. But regardless, no reason to be so bothered by it imo. I find it all entertaining though so carry on .

I would honestly be ok with that for the minimum. Even if he doesn’t pan out on the court, everybody says that he is a super positive dude that is always in good spirits. He is a good dude to have in the locker room. If he can get on the court, his defense would be a good addition.

We are in need of a lockerroom guy so yeah if we figure out what to do with Rozier, the front court depth, and the glut at SF than sure.

Between Dru Smith and Oladipo, I don't think it makes sense to have both of them on the roster. They're both great defenders but are highly injury prone. Last thing we need is more 'dead weight' on the roster, especially since we already have Rozier that we're trying to get rid of as well. We also are pretty guard heavy already and are lacking big men, so I would much rather us pick up a big than Oladipo.

Every spot counts - even if it's the 15th spot - and we should ensure that we use it on players that will actually fill a roster need.


Of course, all of this changes if we are going all in, i.e. LeBron James, then you want the vets. Otherwise, don't even bother at this point.

I didn't need the green font, but I get why others are annoyed, you can't joke and kid on one side and then build up strawmen of all your enemies on the other and act like the perpetual victim. It is what it is though, but obviously that post was in good fun and every Heat fan should be proud of how Bam repped us in the Olympics.

I want to see a resolution to the LeBron thing, its a fun little narrative but would be nice to know what the squad we'll be rooting for next year looks like. If that doesn't happen, I'm sort of leaning towards this being a stealth tank year, let Bam/Tyler have some nagging "injuries", then go balls to the wall for Luka next offseason. Poach from the Lakers one way or another, its worked before (Riley/Shaq).

Just doing my civil service of checking it before it spirals again into “Miami Heat fans hate Bam” sound bites and blanket statements all because we had a difference of opinion.

Perhaps no one ever taught you this… but what and how you say things matter. You then wonder why people give you flank about Bam… you instigate people pointing out Bam’s flaws to offset your over-evaluations of Bam and then call them out as haters of Bam. That’s bait and switch.

Yeah, Klutch and LeBron are egomaniacs, they don’t want to appear weak by agreeing to be traded or rejected by a team.

They want to keep the power in their hands, maybe choosing a team next season as a FA or just extending for one more year with LA for his retirement tour.
