Nothing. Horst all but confirmed we're waiting for better timing, at the deadline, when he said he'll Make the Bucks Great Again. You mean then? Hopefully Murphy or Garland.

So we should take everything the GM says literally? Not sure I am there. If he doesn’t like the value on the table, I’d want him saying we are good as is. But who knows

I think it's safe to say he's not actively looking for a big move anymore, if he was adamant about it, and hyping up the trade deadline. Otherwise he'd be coy and unspecific. Say something like "we're always looking to make the team better".

I’m not saying you are wrong, in fact may very well be correct. But I will stand by the idea if he doesn’t like the value out there, standing pat and saying so is the right move.

Yup. Pointless trying to parse words that were said and analyze words that weren't said. Assuming he's no longer looking to make moves based on that is fruitless.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

LOL. "Lets get this money"

We are about to see either the very best or the very worst he has to offer.

Also this:

Giannis. Bobby. Scoot.

Doc clearly loves kpj (based on SL interview) and now Horst revealing the pecking order.

Im guessing its Kpj starting at pg, Cole primary backup, and Rollins swapping between pg/sg duties as needed.

While i kinda caught that whiff as well, he said "opportunity" and hes right. Cole is clearly trying to cash in. Contract year Cole is gonna be wild. I do hold out hope that as player valuations have shifted from counting stats to a more complex assessment revolving around the total winning impact of a given player, he may feel more inclined to try and figure out how to most affect winning rather than chuck or grab boards at any cost.

Kuzma to LAC post-CP3?

Already a crowded rotation before he comes aboard, and Gambo says he’s not going to the Suns:

PG: Harden / Kris Dunn
SG: Beal / Bogdanovic
SF: Kawhi / DJJ
PF: John Collins / Batum
C: Zubac / Brook Lopez

One last thing... Bobby has already had a big role. Hes one of the first guys off the bench. So does a bigger role mean hes starting?

Are we going with

Kpj
Green/Trent
Giannis
Bobby
Turner?

No, maybe we just do that game 5 starting lineup more often now, even close w/ it sometimes. Turner didn't close all the time w/ Indy.

I'm not sure Collins will start if Beal starts. I think they continue to start small with Dunn or Jones as a starter to be their p.o.a defender.

I mean, it solves our wing problem. Bobby is fine as a starting 4.

i think its possible what he suggested. i know you are what you defend but if we turn it around offensively....

giannis/cole
kpj/rollins/harris
green/trent
portis/kuzma/prince
turner/sims

the pg giannis thing thats been discussed....what if literally...hes the pg? if doc likes big lineups then there you have it. thats pretty big. thats also decent amounts of time for everybody. if giannis is the pg/sf however you want to call it then the roster composition makes more sense

The dominate Clipper Simmons with the arm band or the Bucks Simmons that hoodwinked Herb Kohl? :reporter:

I’m just thinking a 6’7 bulky body who came into the league with no discernible good skill, but decent at a little bit of everything. Grinds away for like 4 years in the G League before the 3 point shot and perimeter defense develops into a solid rotation piece.

Just gotta stop Livingston from punching hookers and cutting off his feet and I think he’ll be okay.

Sure, if the Bucks are about to trade Kuzma — Al could take all the backup 5 mins with Bobby exclusively at the 4 and Sims relegated to injury emergency guy.

But that’s a far cry from starting in a glamour market like Golden State or having a bigger role with the Lakers.

Seems like the super obvious move for him is ATL. He already lives there, played there, East weaker and they are better than us. It would be great to have him here as a locker room presence but we run into the same old issue we will face all season... Would Doc play him 20mpg and then he's unplayable in the playoffs.

Are they though?

Nope, I was going to reply too but was like, why

I believe after the season (or during the playoffs) Edens and maybe others told Horst to get Kuzma out of there. When there's an almost unanimous consensus on this board, I gotta believe ownership saw the same thing.

Cole Anthony apparently signed a 2 year deal?

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Giannis, Bobby, Scoot... hmmmm.
MVP, bench dude, unproven

Feels like he's playing to the crowd favorites.. otherwise Turner should be mentioned instead
