Dallas should do that, Toronto shouldnt

Probably not, but that's his value give or take

Nah your package is worse

I think Naji/Klay probably help Toronto more on the court than Barrett and Hardy isn't enough of a negative at 2/$12M to make this a negative swap for Toronto.

I think that's a pretty easy yes for Toronto. But again, I'm basing this on RJ's entire body of NBA work, not just post trade deadline 2 years ago and I don't find it compelling arguing its Toronto's roster construction holding him back considering he had the same issues in New York. And oh yeah those same roster issues are still there. BI doesn't change that. So if the problem is his fit in Toronto, well, all the more reason to bring in players with clear roles that hold value.

Klay and Marshall is about what I have barrett worth fwiw, hardy makes the package worse overall for me.

Value aside zero interest in bringing in more 2/3s and taking away minutes for dick/agbaji/walter

I think Naji is worth more than Barrett when you factor everything in, and Klay isn't that bad where he brings it down to RJ's level. So to me thats why Hardy is added. Understand why TOR would balk, especially since they have Walter and if they still believe in Dick/Obaji, but Dallas has zero reason to add any value or make any concessions in a potential RJ deal
