Only this season is guaranteed

And they are so far under the tax this season that if they want to cut him to sign another vet min, it doesn’t matter.

Yup. Also, don't expect Gary Harris to be ensconced here either. The last time we signed a guy as a favor, it was Robin Lopez, and he didn't make it through the year.

We still need to add a playable wing. We presently only have 2, Green and Trent.

Harris won’t kill us in 8-10 minutes a night. He’s really not that bad. An improvement over Connaughton easily.

Did we know that Edens has a tequila? That he made with Michael Jordan and Jeanie Bus? I didn’t until my buddy pulled out a bottle last night.

Edens looks like he’s constantly sweating tequila. So maybe they bottled that.

I’d drink Mallory’s tequila sweat.

Even accounting for only the time frame Dame played last year Giannis had more touches per game than every season besides 2017. More time of possession than every season.

Fair enough. I got confused because the Team Option is 27-28. Just weird to me that they have non-guaranteed and then a team option.

Paul played good last year. His worst NBA year will likely be better than Cole's best , come on... Giannis.. we can get Cole or Paul.. who do you want?

I think Giannis wants the ball every time down the floor. What's the highest Usage % in NBA history? I think he's going to try to get his MVP by playing like Jokic this year and average a triple dub. He doesn't want a real PG

Giannis wasn't even top 10 in touches last year because selfish scrub Dame wouldn't give him the damn ball, and it ruined our offense. Once we finally handed the ball back to Giannis our offensive numbers were awesome, #2 in the league, despite being surrounded with pedestrian talent.

Getting the ball in Giannis hands had nothing to do with chasing the MVP, it's about winning.

Shooting variance definitely helped there and we weren’t playing very good defences.

Getting the ball into Giannis’ hands is about winning but it’s also about doing it his way. There’s nothing wrong with that but we don’t need any spin put on it.

Already a crowded rotation before he comes aboard, and Gambo says he’s not going to the Suns:

PG: Harden / Kris Dunn
SG: Beal / Bogdanovic
SF: Kawhi / DJJ
PF: John Collins / Batum
C: Zubac / Brook Lopez

I'm not sure Collins will start if Beal starts. I think they continue to start small with Dunn or Jones as a starter to be their p.o.a defender.

Shams is laying the groundwork for CP3's glorious return.

Kuzma for Bogdanovic would work straight up under the cap fwiw.

Clips did just trade Powell for a better fitting rotation player to clear the way for Beal....

Expecting them to see Kuz as an upgrade worth paying the extra $6M per year for (without incentive we wouldn't want to include) is probably dreaming unfortunately.

Lol, what a selfish scrub for having his lowest usage rate in a decade while making the offense +1.6 points per-100 better when he was on the court (and +15 in the limited playoff minutes). Team needs more selfish scrubs.imo

Good (or bad?) news for those who believe Giannis is a Jokic type offensive anchor, because we're really about to see just how far he can carry a sub-optimal supporting cast and bottom-5 coaching staff over the course of a full season. I don't really think he's winning MVP unless this team gets at least 50-wins, but maybe the narrative will be strong enough if he averages like, 33/14/8 or something on god-like percentages.

If Giannis does that I feel strongly the team wins 50 games with some room to spare.

Great Ewing theory opportunity without Dame too. Although I think KPJ will just flat out be a better fit and potentially a better player than Dame for the Bucks

Kuz for Bogdan is interesting.

Only issue is Bogdan can’t stay healthy. Has missed 20 or more games in 5 of last 6 seasons. Otherwise a pretty perfect fit as a shooter and tertiary ball handler/playmaker.

Would open a nice size TPE that could be used to get a team under tax at deadline.

Yeah Kuz hasn't been a pinnacle of health but definitely better than Bogdan in that department.

LAC has so many other injury prone guys would be the motivation.

From the Bucks' standpoint, we know we had the botched signing of Bogdan of course, and although he's a bit undersized at the 3 he'd probably start for us over GTJ.

Clippers (understandably) not being into Kuzma and requiring assets for this swap would be where it wouldn't happen.

Bogdan would provide much needed secondary shot-creation/play-making but I think I'd just look elsewhere at this point. He'll be 33 when the season starts and it really felt like Lue didn't trust him at all in that Denver series where, outside of 2-games, he looked pretty cooked.
