We have to sign one 2nd round exception and the only two guys eligible for that are Diawara and Nnaji. I don't think I've seen that enough from Nnaji to warrant him over Diawara.

I think Nnaji could be ok, but he'd be on the bench behind Mitch and Huk, so he wouldn't make much impact. I think Diawara could get some playing time under the right coach  He has really good instincts and moves so well for a guy his size.

Nnaji is ok but he's more of a rim runner which we have two guys like him in Mitch and Huk who already have roster spots.

Diawara provides a little more position flexibility with his ability to defend multiple positions and play some wing because he can dribble and pass. His scoring is certainly raw but at least worth bringing him in and trying to develop him. He's got an interesting tool kit.

I think Diawara has some good upside. But that guy whose video you posted is a tool. I can’t take anyone who has to scream at me in order to get their point across.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I’M SAYING!!!!!

Lmao I’m glad someone else thinks the same way with that dudes videos and constantly screaming into the mic. Every video he puts up is MAJOR NEWS hahaha I get pissed every time I click a video without looking and hear his voice start booming.

I get excited

When he runs the court and pushes the ball Diawara reminds me of the young Siakam before he developed his offensive bag. potential is there.

Agreed... and again I know it's a SMALL SAMPLE SIZE. But I just don't recall Siakam having the same court vision (at the same age).

I'm always cautious when it comes to thinking a draftee will amount to anything but I do like this kid. Just hope he's not another....

Where was he this whole time? He's gonna be OG's back up by 2026.

Is Diawara better than Dadiet? I have a feeling that he is going to be.

His physical attributes give Mo a higher ceiling i think. You can't teach a lot of what I saw from him. He's got an insane physique

I still believe that Dadiet can develop into a serviceable wing.

So far he has done as well as he reasonably can. Let's see what some time in the G-League does and after that maybe next year he could be a mid-year call up.

It's really difficult because we have seen the stat lines that Jacob Toppin put up in the minors. Long, rangy, athletic kid with a legitimate 3 point shot and some ball handling. Toppin can do all of that and really can't sniff the NBA.
