Tell me for a single second you wouldn’t do Giannis for Flagg right now if you’re the Mavs.

I understand Flagg’s a tremendous prospect, but this is Giannis we’re talking about.

Nah good with building around Flagg; dont want Giannis or 41 year old James

I agree the Mavs should keep Flagg over trading for LeBron, but if you have the opportunity to get Giannis for Flagg straight up, you do that.

for anyone thinking the Lakers will take back long term money or not ask for one first round pick back are delusional

52m off the books, plus multiple other expiring contracts. Lakers are in a position to build, and after next year, can trade 3 first round picks in an effort to land another impact player.

They’re not trading for PJ Washington

If the Lakers do not add a pick they will likely be stuck with Labron’s contract. Dallas doesn’t need Labron.

The Lakers don't want to take on additional salary past next season. LBJ is an expiring, that thing is so valuable.

It’s only valuable to a team looking to dump long term salary. If the Lakers are refusing to take back salary then there’s not much of a market for Labron’s contract.

Why not just trade LeBron and AD for Luka in the first place?

As of right now, that report seems like BS.

This trade is complete bs, but lol why would Laker fans boo Klay?

Sorry but none of this is true. Just media and laker haters trying to spread rumors.

Lebron is here to stay.
Period.

Klutch sports is a powerful organization, but very stupid at the same time. Several league sources debunking these trade rumors one by one

Even LeBron is denying it right on the front page here, sounds like he's staying put for now

It was still a fun one to speculate about in theory even though it was obviously a fake report

PJ is definitely good and has excellent chemistry with Luka. PJ can defend and had a bunch of good offensive games during their title run.

I'd take PJ over Bron to play with Luka. Bron is better individually, but Luka needs dogs that go hard for him.

No you don't do that.
And i consider Giannis the best player in the world.
Flagg gives you a 10 year window to build around. With Giannis you have a 4-5 year window with much more money tied up to your cap and far less opportunities to maneuver if things don't go well. Giannis wants to win right away if he leaves Milwaukee. He won't come to Dallas waiting for you to work things up.
With Flagg there's no rush.

Flagg gives you a prospect with high potential but who is not a sure thing.

And yes, I agree that because trading Flagg for Giannis means gutting depth, probably best not to. I was speaking to a straight swap in a hypothetical situation.
