He's just a very streaky player.
Good signing for the Bucks though considering they got him for nothing.

Now he is shooting better at age 24.
With respect (and this isn't a criticism), but this is a perfect example of how the eye test must be paired with the numbers.
The ball can get stuck with Cole. And when he's not efficient, it bites you.
As Chuck alluded to above, he regressed in some respects. But it appears to be more mental than anything.
MIL has nothing to lose to see what they have with him.
mental - in a funk
or
mental - fultz level
Mental in a funk....apparently he was going thru some issues in his personal life, seemed like it was relationship related and/or family.

Start the former lottery bound Orlando Magics backcourt. Yes, yes.
Fabulous.
Ahhh yes Alchemist. Everybody you sign you start. All 15 of them. Yes, yes.
Make everything a referendum on retaining Giannis. Even 2nd and 3rd unit minimum signings.
Fabulous.

If you're going to say something so hyperbolic, why even comment? lol He's like the Bucks 5th best perimeter player, especially when they have to over-index shooting on a team w/ Giannis; whose future ironically that falsehood was likely about.

It was mostly a joke about how bad the bucks perimeter players are. Its probably the worst rotation of perimeter players in the nba and thats not hyperbolic. Cole Anthony could easily be the best player from that collection lol.

That'd only happen if Cole Anthony becomes something much better than he ever has been, in which case that's more of a solution than a problem.
As is they have Kevin Porter Jr. - 19 (decent efficiency), 6, 5 as a 22 yr old. As a 24 yr old w/ the Bucks averaged 21 (efficient)/7/7/2+ per 36. Giannis/KPJ best net rating duo in the east.
Trent averaged around 18 on mediocre efficiency for 2 seasons and next to Giannis last season had good efficiency and shot 42% from 3.
Green shot 43% from 3, high overall efficiency, solid defender.
Rollins at 22 was a good POA defender, shot 41% from 3, & had some juice on the bounce; all while playing thru a dislocated shoulder.
Funny how the worst perimeter players had the best 3 pt% in the league during an era that's so much about shooting and on a team w/ Giannis that has to highly value that skill. Yes, it's grossly hyperbolic. They're not even bad.

Wow, its almost like there's more to the nba than just shooting 3s. Spin it however you want but the Bucks have one of the worst, if not THE worst, perimeter rotation in the NBA.
Dont get sensative because the Bucks have one of the best PF/C combos in the nba. That discrepancy is why the Bucks will be an average team this upcoming year.

As I said, the Bucks have to over-index shooting cuz Giannis exists. In one ear, out the other. They can't sign Westbrick just to impress unnuanced evaluators.
If you think they'll be average because they lose a guy who was +5 per 100 w/ Giannis, to be exchanged w/ someone who was +21; put $ on it. Sounds like a good bet. Their over-under is 44.5 in the books. Average is 41.
Frankly it's easy $ in the other direction. The only way they're average is if they lose Giannis for a long period.

Cole Anthony needs to schedule some sessions with Lethal Shooter "Chris Mathews" again like he did in 22/23.

To be fair, he's had a couple of 30+ point games where he's taken less than 18 official field goal attempts. Those are technically glimpses!!

The entire NBA needs to have sessions with him! Haha.
