I liked Smith in a trade back scenario, very disappointing from him so far.
Yeah Smith has been bad for sure, and so far looks even worse than last year.
Big swing and a miss, for a guy who in his g-league year looked like he'd at minimum be a good, athletic, floor spacing shot blocker. Not doing anything well.
Is it still the case that pretty much the only thing he can do is be tall, athletic and shoot? If I remember correctly the knock on him was zero skills or D and some work ethic questions (like why is someone that talented who has been playing for years still have poor skills and not play D).
