Who plays today?

Diawara pushed. Kolek balled. Beauchamp Beauchamped.

I guess so long as nobody gets Furphied, we should be good.

Starting lineup:
Lance Ware #45
Luka Scuka #35
MarJon Beauchamp #14
Yudai Baba #18
Tyler Kolek #13

They're clearly trying to learn more about these guys, using Kolek to stabilize the team and give them a chance to run plays and score. No idea about Baba, but he's not bad. Just too old for them to play him (not an NBA vet, not a lot of improvement expected).

EIther hurt or the Knicks know what they plan to do with them and are looking at others.

I think the Knicks are running some sets to take the PG off the ball initially.

OK, maybe nobody knows we're playing at 4:30. Or nobody can get off from work now to watch (I'm working from home and watching whie I work). Or maybe only JVG and I are the only guys crazy enough to watch a SL game where we're only playing the bottom half of the SL roster.

THey're not saying but I'm willing to bet they know they're keeping him around and are looking at the others. Mo D is my favorite Knicks draft pick of this offseason.

Kolek & Yodi got the start. I was looking forward to seeing Yodi but he didn't do much. Barely touched the ball in his 5 minutes on the court, well, I missed the first 2 minutes, so . . . 3 minutes I watched.

Luca got the start too. I'm not sold on him either.

I assume they're resting the guys who've earned or have spots. No Huk today. I haven't seen Diawara, and that kind of makes sense. Look at the players who might be competing for the last one or two 2-way contracts over the ones who already have a spot.

Some sloppy play so far. Kolek isn't bad for summer league, but I'm not sure he's a legit back up PG at the NBA level.

Nnaji with some nice offensive rebounds. He might have a shot.

Nice 3 by Luca. He's one of the few on this team who can hit 3s. a 6'10 guy who shoots 3s is always going to be interesting. Maybe some Brad Lohaus upside? I don't think he's quite as big as Brad though.

A pretty jumper by Yudai. I still don't have a sense of him and I'd like to see more.

Biwali Bayles, who, I think is the Australian player of the year, looks lost out there. He made this hilarious pass to the Pacer bench, but it's not just that. He doesn't handle defense well.
