I think his athleticism is too concerning and he isn't a big 7 footer. He might have a neutral to negative wingspan. I don't think his shot is that great either I see efficiency issues with him.

He's a legit 7'1 barefoot...so so 7'2 with a 7'2.75 wing span with a 9'3 standing reach isn't bad at all. He also has the 2nd largest hands in the draft. He'll bulk up over the next couple of years. They usually do add muscle just like guys like Jakobe has added weight in terms of muscle.

His shot is nice. I think he's got every chance at being the Alpern Sengun of this draft and in fact...Yang shoots better than Sengun as a rookie. I'll stop short of calling him a Chinese Jokic but there's a lot to like about him at just 20 years old.

Looked good in that one, for sure. Nice to see him catch a bit of a heater after the first couple games.

I guess he was your guy predraft lol. I liked him too and I had him in group with CMB and Coward of guys I wanted. I have no doubt he's going to be a heck of a 3+D guy especially in this talented Spurs team. The question will always be if he could be more. I always thought if he had a handle he could be a hell of a player, we'll see how he progresses.

Queen is going to be out long term with that injury. The Pelicans gave up an unprotected 2026 first round pick for him. That’s almost guaranteed to be a lottery pick in the West lol. They must think Queen has superstar potential because otherwise that trade made no sense.

Can you imagine how bad this place would be if we took Maluach? Kid has not looked very good at all.

When he has to go out there it feels like he's saying "ahhh sh*t I have to go up there". I love his offensive game but his body language on defense is awful, he looks like he doesn't want to defend.

"ahh sh*t he's gonna miss the shot most likely anyway. Might as well save my energy" Exactly. For a guy who said he would go first if he was European I expect more effort than that.

Not just that. The most favourable of theirs and the Bucks. That's potentially two lottery teams. And with the way the draft has gone lately that seems rather dicey.

edit: and it's funny that some don't like the Raptors apparently passing on the trade offer. Considering many other teams would have declined it too if the rumours are true.

he's a nice player but he can't run and he doesn't seem very strong. I've seen him get pushed off his spot by smaller guys in those summer league games. Sengun is a very physical player, Yang so far is mostly a fundamentals guy. We'll see how he holds up during the season.

I was in the camp Maluach pre draft, so I went to watch a quarter of his play. They played a slower pace than us. and….

Although Maluach can hit some elbow open 3, everything else, his catch/hand, defensive position and awareness, quickness etc… Chomche is better, by far.
