Main reason why Thibs is gone. Baron is right, that half court was like a 2nd man. Pacers didnt immediately double team either until the Jalen ran down the clock then doubled to force him to pass and the person that go the ball had limited time to get a rythem shot.

Tired of hearing about him in this thread. :-?

The threads should be merged. You can't talk about one without discussing the other. It's a natural extension. You're in for a rough season.

Everyone is trying to limit conversations around here if it competes with their own narrative. It's like walking on eggshells.

They're related but not the same thing. Some folks just want to talk Xs and Os

Also, if the Pacers knew what they were doing, the person that would end up getting the ball would be Josh Hart behind the 3 point line, and we know how much he hates shooting the ball.

Josh Hart on the court allowed opposing teams to put their center on him, and at the same time it allowed the center to stay around the rim so whichever Knick beat their man off the dribble above the free throw line, they then had to go up against a center sliding over to contest their shots/layups.

Is Stotts the lead assistant at GSW now? Is so it's a lateral move. Jerry Stackhouse was mentioned briefly. He ran Warriors defense, has been a college HC, GLeague HC for Raptors, assistant with other teams. He'd be a good choice imo, and offering him associate HC would be a promotion so he'd take it presumably
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

I think too much is being made about KAT not being as good of a passer as Sabonis, he may not be as good but he's a better shooter so defenders can't sag off as much to clog the passing lanes. This opens the floor behind them for passes and allows him to drive if he has an advantage.

I think the difference between the two isn't going to hurt the effectiveness of using KAT similarly to Sabonis. The Knicks really need to try different looks including that way so their offense is diversified and more difficult to anticipate and defend.

I've heard Stotts name for many years but I seriously have no clue who he is. I don't know what he'd bring other than experience, so can't give any opinion about him other than...um...ook
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I like Fred Katz. He's got sources, he never tries to be sensationsal, like "WE HAVE A MAJOR UPDATE!!!!!" and he's not just trying to make himself look great, like a certain guy on ESPN who earns a lot of $. So I trust what he says.
