So Beal got bought out for $100M and the Suns stretched that salary hit over 5 years. They now have $20M in dead money every year for the next 5 years, plus they waived and stretched Nassir Little last year and owe $3M a year on his salary for the next 6 years.

They will be hamstrung financially for the next 5 years, they have no picks, and they are playing in the brutal Western Conference. Those pick swaps look better and better all the time.

I usually use my cellphone and the RealGM mobile app. Because it doesn't show on the app, I hadn't noticed that my signature still says Bye Beal. Now, I see that signature on my laptop.

That signature represents my feelings, still. Beal made a ton of money. He never was the caliber of player as Devin Booker. I doubt he will be a significant upgrade over Norman Powell. I am not rooting against him, but it's as if he didn't play for the Wizards. Maybe I still harbor resentment. I should examine those feelings and try to not be a hater.

He seems like a decent person.

What abuse thing? He was arrested for shoplifting.

He was abusing the groceries, body wash and candles from target...

Police said in court documents that Rollins stole small household items such as groceries, body wash and candles from a Target store on seven different occasions from Sept. 9 to Nov. 9, when he was on the Wizards’ roster.

Nah, he's not really a PG. He's a 3&D guy in a PG's body. He's a good role player, but one that's better off on a team that has their star players in place and is trying to win games.

If we are looking for a third string PG, I'd like a guy who can bring the ball up the court under pressure and get us into our sets. I don't think Goodwin is that guy. Jared Butler might be though.
