Tasha Cloud outclassed the field.

I told you all a long time ago about her.

Nice. Would have been fun to see any of them win but good for Cloud.

I didn't think she was going to get there in time.

Wheeler meeting her at the rim was pretty awesome. Wheezy was heading that way to celebrate for herself or her friend.

She just didn't know which until the very end

The worst 3 point shooter in the contest (now that Caitlin Clark dropped out) wins the 3 point contest.

I mean, Sabrina was a large betting favorite before the contest. The best scores ever in the NBA contest were 31 out of 40 (same format as current WNBA) by Steph and Haliburton (and Buddy Hield, but not in the final round). Sabrina put up a 37 two years ago (25 out of 27 shots, IIRC the most contest makes ever regardless of format, the next best being Craig Hodges with 21) and won with 30 tonight (better than the 29 Steph scored to beat her in their head to head). She also holds the WNBA record for three point makes in a season (just ahead of you know who, the formerly worst shooter in the contest).

Sabrina Ionescu has a case for the best contest shooter ever, men or women. Calling her the worst shooter in the contest is certainly a take. Or is it just an excuse to take a shot (pun intended) at Clark?
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

By percentage on the season she's the worst of the participants and i wasn't crapping on Sabrina either, just making an observation that wasn't meant to be that deep.

And I wasn't taking a shot at Clark either. I like Clark and am sad that she wasn't able to get into rhythm because of injuries this season. Hope she gets well soon.

Sabrina is having a down year shooting from 3 compared to her career percentage of 36% but she's still shooting better than CC is this season. And I'm not even trying to knock Caitlin because I think she is just not herself at all this season especially with the injuries.

I mean Sabrina's performance alone versus Steph has already solidified her as one of the greatest shooters in basketball, woman or man. The amount of pressure she was under during the contest would have made a lesser athlete fold. As far as I'm concerned, she's a lock for the Hall of Fame.

I love Sab. She's a huge reason why I got back into the WNBA when we drafted her and I've been locked in ever since.

The fact that her and Tasha really connected during their Unrivaled time together, managed to tamper (sorry DOT) with her to the point where we got Connecticut to trade her here and now they win the Skills and 3 point challenge together...you can't make this stuff up. My dream backcourt winning last night was everything to me.
