ESPN July top-10 prospects update:

Rank Name Position Previous rank
1. Jesus Made SS 1
2. Jacob Misiorowski RHP 2
3. Luis Pena SS 5
4. Jeferson Quero C 4
5. Cooper Pratt SS 3
6. Braylon Payne CF 7
7. Luke Adams 1B 6
8. Logan Henderson RHP 8
9. Bishop Letson RHP NR
10. Brock Wilken 3B 9

"Where they stand entering trade season: Third baseman Andrew Fischer, a 2025 first-rounder, is among the next few players outside of the top 10. This might be the deepest system in all of baseball and is a good example of how this organization can keep competing almost every year, because the pipeline is pretty full right now."

I am so leery of a catcher after rotator cuff surgery. If he can't stick back there what do you do with him?

There is a real risk that injury takes him from a starter to a backup.

It's hard for me to believe a team would give up a haul for Quero now. Since that's the case, and Dinges is still only in A+, the best move is to wait and see if Quero improves the shoulder with another offseason of training. Remember, he had a better season in A+ than Dinges is currently having and did it two years younger.

So crazy was thinking he looked so young! 17 years old. Good for the kid. Seems very intelligent with his interview

Geez, I can’t even keep track of all these dudes, was this guy a high draft pick last year?

Yup. Was a surprise first rounder who immediately looked better than advertised. Super, super young and showed much better power right off the bat. After a nice first month he had a two month stretch where he looked overmatched. Then July rolled around and he's looked like a star again.

Total season OPS of top ranked Brewers (MLB Pipeline):

1. Made (18, A): .781
3. Pena (18, A): .868
4. Pratt (20, AA): .690
5. Quero (22, AAA): .883 (.719 at AAA)
7. Boeve (23, AA): .700
8. Adams (21, AA): .899
9. Payne (18, A): .802
10. Black (24, AAA): .742
11. Bitonti (19, A): .768
16. Adamczewski (20, A): .953
17. Burke (22, A+): .824
18. Wilken (23, AA): .942
21. Lara (20, AA): .714
23. Areinamo (21, A+): .828

Pretty much nobody that is struggling mightily, and a lot of guys mashing for their age/level. Pretty crazy depth they have.

Andrew Fischer comes in under slot by a pretty significant amount

I had that thought with Hardin. He'd be a solid top ten prospect in most systems, and he's down there at #26 in Milwaukee.

Only overslot signing so far is Flores it looks like. Plenty of $ for picks 11-20

Oh oh
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Return to Milwaukee Brewers
