Re: 2025 SLC Summer League roster
Ace definitely has aspects to his game to be encouraged about. I've actually been pleasantly surprised he hasn't been the black hole chucker I thought he'd be.
Cody looks like he might have basketball skills after all.
I know it Brice's 3rd Summerleague, but he has looked great. Playing defense too.
WCJ didnt have as good a second game as his first, but I think he takes the starting job at some point this season.

Cody is more confident.

Yeah, Williams looks better. Let's hope he carries this play into the regular season.
Draft Nate Wolters - FAILED

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Stats for the Top-30 scorers in @NBA summer league play as of last night. Sensabaugh, Filipowski, Williams all looking good so far.

And then Williams pulls another disappearing act this game.

Re: 2025 SLC Summer League roster
I was hoping with Ace and Brice out Cody would step up and have a presence, but he was invisible again. He has made improvements, but very dissapointing to see his lack of presence. Harkless has overall had more of a presence consistently IMO.
He hasn't even played his second season, and I'm trying to withhold judgment, but him being invisible for half of the last game, and all of this one doesn't fill with me with confidence.

Re: 2025 SLC Summer League roster
the toughest part about prospect evaluation for amateurs is the inability to gauge whether someone is a knucklehead or has work ethic. On paper, a guy like Collier with his rare combination of power and speed giving him an elite ability to drive and kick indicates he'd be a well above average point guard. But going by him clearly being 10 lbs overweight and his apparent shooting regression, none of that matters since he doesn't appear to have his head screwed on right and/or a good work ethic. I see him being way too nonchalant as if he's too good for SL yet he can't shoot as good as a middle schooler at this point. I think I way overrated him as a prospect. Maybe he'll be the type to mature and in a few seasons will end up a being solid pro but right now I wouldn't feel comfortable letting him start, tank or not unless he does a 180 from now until opening night. Besides the lackadaisical effort he also seems to have bricks for hands. Zero touch. So bad he bricked a dunk as time expired. Like, how do you play basketball your whole life and even have professional trainers and you can't shoot the ball? The talent is clearly there but you can only lead a horse to water, you can't make it drink.
Cody Williams is looking rough anytime he has the ball in his hands. At this point keep having him put on muscle but only park him in the corner for C & S threes and have him defend because he is incapable of pretty much anything else. He's twice gotten stripped doing the most rudimentary cross-over while bringing the ball up. Embarrassing stuff. He does look a little more comfortable out there but not by much.
What's with the Jazz' love affair with tiny shooting guards that can't defend? They literally had to give Sexton and Clarkson away yet were in a rush to trade up for another in Clayton while long athletic wings were still on the board. Ainge has kinda been a disaster. Hopefully he doesn't get credit for Bailey falling into his lap to detract from the horrible job he's done on draft night

Have you got a link for this website? The NBA sites I usually use don't appear to have full summer league stats like this.

I pulled the data from here and formatted it the way that I like.

Thank you!!! I was trying to get to the stats on Real GM from this path below and couldn't get there. Whenever I would change the season to 25/26, it would automatically change the next tab to "Entire NBA 2k26 Summer" and then say "Stats are not currently available for this season". https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/summer/1/NBA-2K26-Summer-League/59/stats
Edit: When summer league is complete, please post your formatted table again if you have time. Thank you.

Re: 2025 SLC Summer League roster
Went to the second day of summer league and sat right behind the Memphis bench. It was an amazing game to watch up close and in person.
The curl play for Ace was one of the only times it seemed we ran a play for him that wasn’t an iso and it was amazing. Also really liked his three corner shooting on one play. He didn’t drop the ball to shoot/release it. If he can get that down it will help tremendously.
Clayton Jr. was our best PG by far and I think Bryce is looking bette than Keyonte as a SG.
I suspect both Clayton and Bryce will get 10-20 starts this season over Collier and Keyonte. Unless Keyonte comes out of the gates much better equipped as a player. Collier was disappointing to watch. He has no control over his game. He reminds me of Westbrook and Marcus Smart combined but not as good as either of them.

Not sure about the last game in SLC, but they said during the game yesterday that he was missing because of an injury......

Hopefully translates to regular season play. Our 2nd round pick from last year being better than our lotto pick would be hilarious! It would be a total Jazz move.

From SL play, what's your first 8 man rotation looking like?

I don't think SL play changes things that much. In no special order:
1. Markkanen
2. Kessler
3. Bailey
4. George
5. Hendricks
6. Sensei
7. Williams
8. Flip
That leaves out Collier and WCJ as young guys who need minutes but you can swap them with someone else. I wouldn't play Anderson significant minutes.
