Not a Lebron fan or hater, but appreciate him for what he is. The best player ive ever watched (was young when Jordan played). His farewell tour, should he announce it, will be and should be huge. His exposure as a high school athlete was the first of its kind, and he lived up to the hype and then some. So many guys have been hyped since and none can sniff anything close to meeting the expectations like LeBron did. The fact he maintained it for a good 20 years is remarkable, hes been in the league for over half of his life and is still a borderline all NBA player at age 40.

The should play Space Jam 2 in every opposing arena before the games. Make him sit through it 41 times

Not sure why watching a top 2 player of all time on a retirement tour will be something that has to be suffered through. I don’t get the LeBron hate at all. Does he have a huge ego? Yeah, but most of the greats do. I hope he announces before the season so that his fans league wide can come out to watch him one last time.

I really wish he wasn't so goofy so we could celebrate him the way he should be celebrated for his achievements. It should be a 10 minute standing ovation in every stadium... but it's like cheering for a diva who is already expecting you to kiss their azz.

He should stop copying Kobe. Nah, just kidding. But, seriously, why does there have to be a farewell tour? MJ just gave a press conference and that was it. Imagine if athletes did this in other sports. A farewell tour in boxing or mma? Okay, that doesn't work because you could die. What about football? Nope, not really. Same thing In the NFL a player usually get benched, have a career-ending injury, or suffer humiliation. When it's over, it's over in most sports. The whole thing just seem silly that basketball has this pageant-like farewell tours for players.

Different times since Kobe ushered that in. I always found it funny that Dirk never even announced his retirement, but fans/teams gave him a farewell tour and basically forced his hand

It's got to be so easy writing fake news to get clicks about LeBron. Just write something that potrays him negatively and the fans that hate him and aren't very bright will believe it 100% and share it.

While I appreciate the insult, this guy is a Cavs reporter who has been following Lebron for years so he likely knows a little something about it. Cavs fans seem to think he has moe sources than most of the other Cavs reporters. I mean do you really think Lebron is going to just quietly retire and fade off into the sunset like Tim Duncan..? It would be very unlike him. Everything we've learned about Lebron the past 20 years suggests he's going to want a big, grand retirement tour. And that's fine, that doesn't make him a bad person. But to suggest that he wouldn't would be disingenuous.

Because Clutch is insufferable about pushing Lebron's legacy. When Kareem and Kobe had their farewell tours, it was a different vibe, not a propaganda tour to name them the GOAT

A tour isn't even in the making and you're already claiming there's going to be a propaganda tour. Im sure if there is no tour you'd be pissed cause you wouldn't have your chances to bitch and cry about it.

It will be a massive glaze fest and rightfully so. He deserves it. We are all witnesses and there isn’t a damn thing you haters can do about it

Whenever it is and however long it lasts, I’m sure it will be contrived, narcissistic, and ultimately empty, just like much of his career.

Maybe it will be not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 retirements. Who knows?

I hope he keeps it ambiguous and hangs it up after this season.

And I hope he finally scores a LeBron 27/7/7. Maybe even in his last game :o
