Re: Bulls sign Yuki Kawamura to two-way deal
The kid is talented, I don't care if he's short. His most important attribute is that he makes the other 4 guys on the floor with him better. And if he can shoot 40% from "3" consistently he will find a roster spot on an NBA Team. I hope it's with us. He's so much fun to watch.

He's got some Steve Nash in his game. I'll probably check out the WCBs this season.

This sums it up for me.
Do I believe in Yuki Kawamura, legit NBA player? It's a two-way, so who cares. I like having fun, though.

Re: Bulls sign Yuki Kawamura to two-way deal
Watching Yuki, JFL, Noa & Lachlan might be the most fun G League team to watch. I’ll make an effort now to watch those home games. Also, Yuki as back up PG to if Giddey, Trey, Carter all go down isn’t bad… and maybe Yuki develops into a solid 3rd string PG once letting go of Carter next year. The Arcidiscono role lol

Yuki is not NBA player, but he gonna put show in G-league. Very important to have guy with his skills somewhere around, when you have 18 year old on roster tall enough to learn play basketball in next year or two.

I hope he proves all the haters wrong. Even if it's a short "Linsanity" type run... I'd buy all in.

Yuki boxing out an opposing center for a rebound and throwing a full court dime.

"Boxing out" doesn't mean what I thought it meant, apparently.

I argue the point of the comment is that he's always in the right place on the floor. Being first to a position can make up big time for lack of size.
I honestly want to see him run a bit this year in the league. If he can't play, he will be exposed quickly. Something tells me his +/- will say otherwise if he gets that opportunity.

He could be our version of Scottie Pippen jr.

This has little to do with the big league squad, it's all Noa's WCB development. Providing a slasher/rim runner with someone who will actually throw a pass, kinda like Giddey, is a whole new lvl of thinking for AK. Hopefully he is done with the Lemons, Stewarts and Youngs.

Re: Bulls sign Yuki Kawamura to two-way deal
I enjoy watching players with high basketball IQ. Some of the plays he made in SL reminded me a lot of Lonzo and Caruso. Always makes the right play with great timing and accuracy.
Yuki obviously knows that he's short, but he's shown he can still be effective against taller competition. Kid is fast as hell with the ball, makes quick decisions, and is accurate with his passing. He'll struggle defensively because with his short arms he's simply not gonna be able to cover guys a foot taller than him, but he'll be able to contribute offensively. He's certainly more of a PG than some of these other shoot first combo guards we have on the roster.

Wow Yuki took #8. They should save those better numbers for players who matter not for the g league/2 way guys.

What's so special about 8? I remember when it was uncommon to have a digit not between 0-5.

You could box out Patrick Williams with this move 100% of the time.
