“Nico Harrison was 100 percent threatened by Casey Smith,” a source told ESPN. “Harrison’s going to show that he’s in charge and nobody else can question that.” Harrison said Smith was “too negative,” which many within the team interpreted as Harrison wanting more of a “yes-man” in the role.

I mean he is the GM. Other than the owner he’s the boss. We may not like the way he does things but he’s in charge. If I was being insubordinate to my boss he would fire me too.

Did you even read the whole thing? Nico is a piece of s***. And what good manager surrounds himself only with people that can't say no to you? The fact that Dirk hates him with a passion speaks more volume than anything else.
Casey is the best team doctor in the league, that's a proven fact. Nico is a shoe salesman who is falling upwards ever since he arrived in Dallas. But at some point his luck will run out. He's also lucky that new owner said he had no clue about basketball or players. Any other competent owner would have kicked him to the moon already.
