So they're tanking the center position and stunting the growth of a prospect by sticking strong with Green instead of using him as matching salary.
And he has no future with the team.
I'm starting to worry Jeff refuses to accept that.
Yeah it's weird they drafted Kon yet gave him competition for minutes with the Sexton trade and bringing back Mann + Spencer D.
I definitely think McNeeley will backup Miller at the 3 once we clear up some of these unnecessary guards on the roster.
Melo/Mann
Sexton/Kon
Miller/McNeeley
I hope this will be our rotation by the end of the season.
Beyond bizarre.
Jeff surveys the market for centers going back to the first time he looked to move Mark before the trade deadline. Trades him not once but twice yet ends up empty-handed after all this time surveying the market. Did he work on nothing? Did he work on some things and they all fell apart?
Meanwhile he stocks up on top of Green burying his new draft picks on the depth chart. Gets into a roster crunch where the owners will have to eat money owed Connaughton and NSJ.
That can't have been the plan.
Is he stuck with Green and can't admit he's got negative value? Such a terrible first offseason adding Green and Salaün.
Is the way out a roster crunch? Buyout money? Liam and Kon fighting Green for minutes? Jeff wanting to use Grant as a center to get more minutes for Salaün?
He's a strange cat. None of this makes sense unless he just got skunked.
