He has his own line with the same brand.

I know a guy who is in the shoe business. He said that Jokic's brothers (Nemanja actually, no way Strahinja deals with that) were looking for a 10 million per year deal. Nike offered something like 7 and they declined. Went with 361, as they paid what Jokic wanted.

Those 361 shoes look so much better than the same crap Nike releases year after year. If they are comfortable and provide a decent support - it's a must have for me. Got a friend who plays with them and is very happy. Gotta find a place to try it myself, maybe my next visit to US (no 361 in retail in my country)

I'm thinking the same. Nike and Adidas have been releasing incredibly ugly shoes for the past few years.

There's a basketball specialized store here in Serbia which sells 361s, I might go try some this weekend.

Jokic should open a restaurant chain, I think that'd be more believable and profitable for him. , Nothing about him or his game makes me wonder if it's the shoes.

Nobody really knows who Gordon is but everybody knows who Jokic is.

Gordon cares about shoes but Jokic doesn't give a crap about shoes.

NGL that sounds like one of those fake copycat china-made shoes.

It goes along with best-sellers like ADIBABAS, MIKE , MOKA and more..

They were high top (which is hard to find no a days), the traction was insane, and really good techn in the shoe. I would completely recommend 361 for basketball sneakers or some other Chinese brands.

interesting....I haven't seen these in person...thanks for the review.

Why don't some of these players just start their own shoe brand?

I get the big brand companies pay them millions to market their brand, but it would be different to have your own shoe brand you created with your own money.

LeBron could have really changed the narrative had he created his own shoe company instead of signing with Nike.

I've lived in China for many year and have almost exclusively worn brands like Peak, Anta, 361, because they're the same quality as established western brands but cheaper. These shoe brands are former OEMs of western brands like Nike and Adidas, who basically applied the manufacturing processes and experiences from making shoes for these brands into their own brand (especially as Western shoe brands started moving to 'new cheap labor' countries in south east Asia).

There is really no discernable difference between these brands and western brands IMO.

Got the Peppa Pig Joker 1s and the Joker Joker 1 GT and they are the best basketball shoes available IMO.
