Culture is changing in Charlotte. If Lamelo plays 65 games this year people will be surprised by their competitiveness but Center depth is once again concerning.

And TBH. Hornets with coach Lee and right now coach Jent at SL along with their front office deserve a lot of credit.
I know many won't give any love or anything, to put it mildly no one would have no matter the winner tonight, but I know you and other Hornets fans know this.
BUT, the way your organisation has come out with coach Lee, the new FO, now with the draft and the SL squad clearly playing an amazing BRAND of ball deserve to be mentioned and congratulated. No one is saying it's going to 100% translate as it takes time to build these things into the entire org. but this was a really nice game from the Hornets that were committed to winning. I wasn't a massive fan of the Kon pick, but he showed me the things I kind of doubted him on and I'm intrigued how he moves forward with his game.

Knueppel already leading an NBA champion.

Unbelievable.

Everyone laughed at him getting picked so high.

Knueppel is a DOG.

well, it's pretty laughable that he was taken so high still, SL doesn't change that. There's likely going to be a wake-up call come the regular season once he's forced to defend NBA players and try and compete on the offensive end with his very real limitations. Guys that make great college players can look great in SL too for all the same reasons. It will be interesting to see what their rotation is going to be. If their goal is to change the culture, the past couple of drafts have them on the right track but they still have some left over knuckleheads that need to get shipped or it's all for naught.

Morey's last 4 draft picks:

- Maxey
- Springer
- McCain
- Edgecombe

Springer was a failure, but he was a late round pick.

But Maxey has proven himself, McCain looks like a contributor, and Edgecombe looks promising in Summer League.
