Would rather have Caleb at $2.4 than Jett at $5.5 would get the Magic under the Apron enough they could still afford another minimum player if needed during the season. Caleb is a better player.

Caleb being a better player is debatable. And his contract we easy to not pick up.

Caleb Shot 40% from 3 and played decent defense while being capable of playing multiple positions. What does Jett shoot and how is his defense? Debatable?

Sometimes teams just strike out on the draft. No need to hold onto $5.5 mil baggage when it can be used.
